Because the comedian Jim Breuer will be opening for Metallica, he is having a comedy show at the Chester Fritz tomorrow (Friday) for anyone interested.
The events at Chester Fritz don't seem to get very much publicity.
Unsung hero of the new upgrades is the freshly installed cell towers in the Alerus parking lot. Cell reception is great. Now I can sit on SS during the game.

Just came from EGF over the river and turning right on 3rd Street to go towards Toasted Frog.
I was first at the red light. Thanks to the bumpouts and all the pedestrians crossing the street, I wasn't able to turn right for about a minute holding up all traffic behind me.
While Columbia Road is adding turn lanes to ease traffic, downtown is taking them away to increase it.
But at least they'll change their name to the Valley Forum to accurately describe their new market....or maybe rename Grand Forks to Grand Fargo.
With the Forum recently selling the Herald building, I can see them wanting the staff to work from home or Fargo in the not-to-distant future.
