ASU is 21-12-1 with a SoS ranking of 22 according to Krach. Bowling Green 23-9-5 with a SoS ranking of 47. There are only 60 teams in college hockey so 47/60 is not good. And only 34ish games played to day. Not much room for error in college hockey (SoS or W/L). I don't have a problem with where ASU ranked. Maybe a little high. But nothing is perfect. Massey has ASU 15th. Krach 16th and PWR 9th.

More bars and high school basketball games to go to? Grand Forks definitely had more entertainment options, especially per capita, on that Saturday night than MSP. It would be equivalent to MSP having 700,000 people attending concerts and sporting events that night. Instead it's only 19,000 at a hockey game in a city of 3,000,000+ people. (well in honesty there was also a few local bands playing at bars and the mega crowds at Minnesota's biggeat tourist attraction, the mall, that night.)

I honestly don't know. But it has that kind of feel.

In hindsight, it looks like the people who chose the Betty seating capacity pretty much nailed it.
