Jack and Sandy on KFGO have announced no fewer than four times since I started listening at 1:30 that a settlement will be announced tomorrow (possibly) on the UND nickname. Let's hope it is a "reasonable" settlement that allows UND to continue to use the Sioux name.

Since is is speculated that local reporters do indeed read this message board, after seeing a little bit of recent background about these two finalists, will we see a re-print of the hatchet job of Judge Jahnke in tomorrow's Herald? Or will someone have the audacity to do some research on these and the remainder of the 16 finalists?

One post I can't disagree with DaveK on. This Bohl guy sure can put together a team and coach. You look at the W against Montana and at the time wonder if it was a fluke. He's getting their guys to do it again and again and the success can no longer be dismissed. The past is the past and realistically I don't think it has had any bearing on the present for NDSU. They brought in a guy that had "been there before" and he's taken the ship and brought them to the IAA level with the perfect formula. If UND isn't taking notice, something is terribly wrong in Grand Forks. I think given the same resources, Dale Lennon could do the same thing for UND. Hopefully that is what we'll see. So, using Bison logic, just because NDSU has been successful in their transition, that means that UND won't be successful. Is that about right?
