Nearly everyone here has watched UND for many years. Watching indeed gives one some perspective. With that perspective comes some expectations. Those expectations don't always translate into knowledge. And they certainly don't translate to expertise. You're nothing more than a fan, just like all the other people that have followed UND for a long time. I'm curious about something, actually a couple things... Did you play sports growing up? If so, how did you get along with coach(es)? Do you have kids? If so, do they play sports?

If that is a good hit, what do people think of this one... (warning... college game highlight):

I'd go. Despite what some say on here, the opportunity to see your favorite team play at the Frozen Four doesn't happen all the time. Plus, if you don't go, you'll take it to your effing grave.... Your effing grave.

Not this fan. No green koolaid drinker here. Great coaches are not remembered for just getting there. Last title winners will have their 15 year reunion next year. Would Magic Johnson settle for the elite 8? Mateen Cleaves? I don't think so. Izzo's team ruined my bracket today. That's unacceptable. Mark Hollis and President Simon have some soul searching to do here. A niche sport has won a title more recently than Izzo's team. Again, unacceptable.

All this "exposure" that Bisin fans speak of, and apparently feel the need to come here and remind us of continuously... Quantify it. The last NCAA appearance by the men's BB team at NDSU helped what should have taken one year of fundraising for a remodeling project take five years. How valuable is this "exposure" if it isn't really valuable at all? Will exposure increase enrollment? Will exposure lower tuition? Donations? UND just raised $300 million without said "exposure". Take nothing away from the accomplishment of NDSU's team, it was great for them. Be proud as students, alumni, and North Dakotans. But take it for what it is.
