Received ours about two weeks after they were ordered.

That's a great link and a good tool for those of us at work. Thanks.

With Chelios as captain, maybe USA Hockey thought it might not be a good idea to have rooms in the name of USA hockey if the USA would happen to lose.

I'm just wondering if we are going to see a "new medal prediction" after the quarterfinals and its down to four teams remaining.

This 'sports' character seems a little bit like the poster formerly known as "Siouxrock"...

There are MANY guys out there that the coaches see each week that most of us have likely NEVER heard of. It's not like guys leaving early is a new scenario anywhere. As has been pointed out in this thread, there are lots of guys that weren't on the radar that were added as "late" recruits, or even "walk-ons". Matt Henderson, Billy Trew, Spirko... There are certainly guys out there that want to play at the next level that have the ability. It is the job of the coaching staff to find them. I trust them to make that determination.

You learned in these forums, in a thread titled "time to give credit where credit is due", that "UND fans are jealous as hell of the Bison victory at Wisconsin"? Again, you initially came on here PREACHING to Sioux fans. You proceeded to post diatribes in an attempt to "convince" Sioux fans that NDSU is so much better. You then get called on that and make this ridiculous assertion that you will no longer give "your usual" $15,000 donation to UND. No one believes that you EVER gave a dime to UND. If you feel so strongly in your support of UND that you can read some posts on a freaking message board and decide that you will no longer support UND, trust me, UND doesn't need you. You have been taking subtle jabs at UND in each lengthy post that you have made on here. Good for you. Go on and enjoy all of the success that NDSU is having.
-
D3 calibre? I bet you haven't given two cents to UND. Ever. Nice try. Not sure if you think you ever fooled anyone into believing that you ever were a fan of both programs. Your posts have easily given that away. You know what... no one here is going to miss you. There are already enough NDSU trolls that post here. And they are certainly less long-winded than you. They aren't on any high horse. Just take their shots, and move on. Maybe that is a concept that would be better served for you?

Somewhere out there, there's a person searching frantically for their stolen soapbox.

What does birth year have to do with ability?
-
When the resident siouxsports.com talent expert says a player is 99% going pro after this year, that's nearly enough to stamp "guaranteed" on the bull's A$$... oh, wait... nevermind.
-
No, your assumption was that she has an "attitude problem" because some parents wanted her fired. Pretty tough to make that leap, especially since you probably wouldn't even recognize her if you walked past her on a sidewalk. You've learned this in how many years out in the real world? Good luck to you.
-
There's your first mistake. Remember what happens when one "assumes".
-
Attitude problem? In this thread, it says that where? I suppose she's "defensively lacking", too...
-
He was probably telling her way back when they were moving to Duluth, GA. Seems that maybe she didn't get the joke.
-
Well, it was a good plan anyway.

Wondered the same thing last night. Seemed that the linesmen didn't have a very good game. Many close off-sides called the wrong way, with very late whistles, on both teams. Icing calls waived off for no apparent reason. And then there was the "face-off" without any Sioux players anywhere near it at the start of the powerplay with 2:12 to go. I realize the rule was new last year, but Bergren was out there to get noticed. If the Sioux took too long to get set up that time, there must have been 20 other times during the game they could have done the same thing. Plus, it took St. Cloud State skating with 6 men for about 15 seconds before they called the too many men penalty.
-
Is there a pre-game on the FSSN? Was last night's game on the FSSN? It seems that at times someone forgets to do something for the game to air here in Park Rapids. I've called the cable company and they tell me to call REA. I've called REA and they tell me to call the local cable company. Any ideas?

That is just plain unexceptable.

I guess Coach Glas will stay here FOREVER??? Sioux-per fan... read the first post of the thread. What does the first sentence say? Thank you.
-
WHOOSH!!! I may be wrong, but it seems that The Sicatoka is inferring that The Betty would some day be a home court for a D-I volleyball program just down the road. No one even brought up UND in this thread until YOU did.
-
Though Rich Glas moving on is not definite, it is inevitable at some point in the next few years. Who are some coaches with ties to UND, or with NO ties to UND that are potential candidates? I came up with a few possibilites as part of a different conversation. Here they are: 1. Mike Boschee - Central College - Pella, IA 2. Mike Fitzner - Lake Superior State - Sault Ste. Marie, MI 3. Marty McDermott - University of Dubuque - Dubuque, IA - 4. Rico Burkett - Wayne State College - Wayne, NE - 5. Craig Smith - Mayville State University - Mayville, ND - A UND alum (1996), though he never coached at UND. He's followed Tim Miles around a little bit. An "up and comer". Others?

"...choosing to wait..." Huh? Technically, coaches can't even SPEAK directly to the kid until the day after graduation his junior year. Besides, he's a junior and NO ONE ELSE had made ANY sort of offer, only St. Cloud. Did I mention he's still only a junior? This certainly is a relevant topic to Sioux fans when you consider his lineage. I wonder if the Sioux coaches took too much consideration in that fact as well... I don't think the fact that he is choosing to attend St. Cloud is the issue. It sounds to me from this thread that the issue Sioux fans have is that he chose St. Cloud State without hearing any other offers. I'm sure there are many recruiting geeks out there that may have even had JC pencilled in as a Sioux recruit for 2007-08.
