GF convention & tourism website This calendar shows the Grand Am b-ball tourney is going on this weekend. Doesn't this tourney draw hundreds of teams? That's why there are no rooms to be found in GF. Good planning. Well, that and the Veggie Tales concert at the Fritz. (yes, I'll be there.) What would have happened if UND had not made the tourney and the out-of-town crowd made for well over 75% of attendees at the West Regional?

Looks like we don't have to speculate any longer about Benedict Arnold coming back to coach the Sioux. I wonder if UNI will be able to maintain the success that they've enjoyed with Mac.

Wasn't the debate about whether he would play football or basketball in college? One would think getting this award may loom large in that decision process.

To go along with the "pride" theme, Woog made a comment early when the game was still 0-0 that the Gophers looked pretty lackluster. Mazocco chimes in with the usual "Well, Doug, they don't have a lot to play for today." Woog's response? "You'd think PRIDE would be enough." Says a lot.

The only way it makes any sense for UNK to join the NCC is if UNO is in the league. Without UNO, the NCC will see Mary, Bemidji State, Winona State, or Concordia-St. Paul before UNKearney.

No one gets "cut" three weeks before the season ends. Especially a player that is supposed to be the #1 (or #1A) goaltender. Suspended, or maybe "dismissed from the team", but cut? Has to be more to it. Grades? Team rules? Also, where's this been in the official UND releases? Jake???

You don't get it. Bochenski is not playing right now in Ottawa because Ottawa is GOOD and they don't want to mess with a system that seems to be working. It has nothing to do with the organization having their head up their a$$, as you implied. You can't be right all of the time.
