I believe Brewster means nickname/moniker. Then again, this is fun: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/454541-the-worst-behaved-mascots-of-all-time

I saw Heisman and thus "Johnny FB" and Texas A&M spring to mind ... then you dump "Baylor" (and RGIII) on me. And yes, somethin' like that -- because the Spanish Armada still dominates the high seas.

I take it you mean: http://www.grandforksherald.com/content/alumni-opinion-highly-valued-und-nickname-decision

I did not realize that Alaska took the hit across the entire athletic department. The NCAA just put itself on the spot: What happened at North Carolina was far worse. Will the NCAA hit UNC as hard? (Hint: If I were betting I'd bet the under.)

Why does any venture expand? Market and opportunity.

Who said we'll be stuck with some weather phenomena? Thundersnow.

I run "The Three" (not to be confused with "The Ocho") on my iPad just like I run the watch Big Sky app. Both are solid platforms. My only knock is that not all BSC schools have HD cameras in all their facilities and you can see the difference in picture.

Oh yeah, really marketable, really easy to rally around, and inclusive too. You work for Dr. Kelley?

A Muss is more like a goulash or jambalaya (a little of this, a little of that, little structure, and everything doing it's own thing and tossed in a pot together) and a Bubba is more steak and potatoes. If I ordered and expected a "Muss" and got a "Bubba" I'd probably not be happy with it. But if I ordered a "Bubba" and got it ... mmmm, steak.

I'd always heard "don't poke the bear". The NCAA just poked the Nanook ... hard.

So now we are here: Source: http://www.grandforksherald.com/content/athletes-faculty-weigh-und-nickname We see what's now fully in control of this process to define a process. And now I turn to these wise words from a mentor ... Control what's yours to control. If you don't when you should it's nearly impossible to get back.

If the guy had problems with the coach, and was on his own agenda (transfer after the season), having that in the room can't be a positive.

No. It's not. "Public television" is probably running a show on painting, or sewing, or "Sesame Street". The NDSU game is on free, over-the-air, commercial television. And now the "money" question: How many televisions are still connected to over-the-air antennas? Dare I say 20% at most*? That means most sets are connected to satellite or ... cable. And who's the largest cable provider in the region? *With digital television came smaller signal reach and more people in small towns and rural areas going to satellite or cable.

That exchange seems to show that UND FB was being polite by saying 'left', then Mr. Ferguson chimed in (spitefully) with "false", and now UND FB has decided to confirm Mr. Ferguson in that he didn't leave but was dismissed. So, net effect: Instead of "left" as the story, Ferguson outed himself as having been dismissed. Not so bright, Dev. You just raised a red flag on yourself to other coaches.

The screw up was if the name was going we (those who supported the name as long as it was possible) should've demanded an immediate replacement so as to not allow for the process to be defined for us (to us?).

FSN* or Fox College Sports? Remember, UND Hockey used to be on FCS. *Fox Sports North, formerly the all Gopher all the time channel, pre Big Ten Network.

He is a medical doctor (and I believe he's seen combat while serving in the US military). I'll go with his take.

You're only about six women's and six men's sports short of the minimums to be a Division I member. (Let me help you out: Six. That's all the pointy things on one hand plus the thumb on the other. )

You told me she was thorough and went through everything with you twice.

NDSU to move to FBS with an invite from the Sun Belch?

They have a money problem there too. http://kfgo.com/news/articles/2014/sep/18/low-bids-for-major-update-to-fargo-water-treatment-plant-come-in-millions-of-dollars-above-budget/ Grand Forks is looking at a water plant not long after that. I hope the elected city leaders are taking note. -
Can we go unbalanced and try to get any semblance of a running game to help out Studsrud? Please?

Is that when you're due to give birth to his child?

I'd say "water" is an issue for Fargo, and not just too much at once. They've grown by a "Jamestown*" in the last five or so years. Can the Red and Sheyenne keep up with their needs or will Fargo need water from the Missouri via a pipe (like Furness and Walacker say). By comparison, Grand Forks is an oasis. *about 13,000
