  1. Did I say that? I'm just amazed at your knowledge of a story that has somehow been kept out of media in one of the leakiest cities around. Even @gfhockey has thrown some shade your way.
  2. Can you call a one-seed a 'dog?
  3. Can the Dickinson train stay on the tracks for three more games.
  4. Rectal extraction.
  5. Better or worse than Swiftees?
  6. @Brucesky02 I believe the CC/DU series is a home and home.
  7. Grousing is way easier.
  8. UND had better figure out the "one-four, collapsing box at the blue" trap and fast. Others will see that tape. Personally, they want to do that, dump it and beat the livin' dogsnot out of the retrieving D.
  9. I take it you haven't ridden your bike down to Fargo recently. That "4+1" or "3+1" (residential floors + commercial floor) design is prolific. This at least has roof line breaks and jut-outs to break up the visual lines. Nobody builds St Peter's Bascillica or the Taj Mahal today.
  10. Donations that are endowed (saved as principle to earn interest on) are usually targetted by the donor for a purpose, like a scholarship or a program. Unallocated funds are distributed at the direction of the UNDAA&F board with input from UND. Usually no more than 4% of an endowment is used in any year so as to maintain the principle balance (and keep earning). For example when the UND president said it'd take a $60M endowment to maintain womens hockey that would provide nominally a $2.4M annual operating fund.
  11. Alex, what are things that make you say, "Hmmm ..."?
  12. Most likely, as you'd want all the skater options, but if not there may be an unspoken injury.
  13. UND's remaining schedule: - two teams fighting for their PWR lives (CC 39%, WMU 76%) - two teams looking to be spoilers (UMD 1%, Omaha 6%) https://www.collegehockeynews.com/ratings/probabilityMatrix.php#google_vignette
  14. 25 man roster; 23 man conference travel limit; Johannes out (injury). Who else stayed back in Grand Forks?
  15. From another thread, but appropriate here:
  16. Basketball has too many time outs if you can be petty and spiteful with them. More simply, basketball has too many time outs.
  17. Do people see the F and N in the Spartans logo?

  19. Honestly, Bubs has to win the "Pasta Pot" by more than five points or it's Mayotte.
  20. We'll soon all be colors or numbers.
  21. You watching the Westminster Dog Show again?
  22. Sticking to facts and questions: The head FB coach has a contract through the 2025 season. A lame duck HC has an impact on retention (assistants, players, recruits). What's the plan beyond the present ends-in-2025 HC contract? <-- This a question for Chaves; he has a podcast; so ask it.
  23. Once a person grasps "PNE" and "magic number" they are really valuable tools.
  24. https://www.collegehockeynews.com/ratings/probabilityMatrix.php What's interesting is that nine teams are apparently "locked" in (>99% chance of "In"). Sunday I ran a "UND loses out" scenario and could only fall to PWR12 so I'm not surprised UND is an apparent lock.
  25. When it comes to post-season travel: EDC is Hockey East WDA is the NCHC
