Petro truck stop you mention is not part of PetroServe USA in the articles. https://www.petroserveusa.com/location-list

Yes. I believe Donny's sister Deanne runs a lot of the day to day.

"They are looking to take advantage of Athletic Departments with weak leadership who can be convinced they need a third party to conduct relatively simple transactions." That sounds a little like REA (and its backing capital) doing some tasks for UND Athletics, both good and bad.

Private equity (sometimes disguised as corporate raiders) in college athletics ... what next.

True, but the winning coach was and she'd worked for him. Either you trust the Hutter hire and what follows (like his former staff being hired by Mal) or you don't. If this was an NAIA hire from Wazzamatta U in East Mooseguts, Idaho, I'd wonder. They have pretty good 'book' on this hire. https://fightinghawks.com/news/2024/5/22/womens-basketball-north-dakota-adds-gayner-as-womens-basketball-assistant-coach.aspx She seems to be from Dassel/Cokato area in Minnesota. That's good because the rivals have been doing it with locals; why not UND.

Mal hired Hutter. Hutter surely would have insight on assistants. See also: Bubba hired OC; OC surely would have insight on OL hire. If you make the first hire and don't trust their insights on following hires, why'd you hire them?

Put Perron and Swanson out together you're gonna need a big hoss retriever and center ... paging Mr Berg, Mr Cameron Berg ... If not Perron, James, which then opens other options at center.

I've had him in the "likely not" section of my personal tracker spreadsheet for over a year.

For those without ForumComm subscription: https://www.kvrr.com/2024/05/02/theft-drug-use-prompt-fargo-convenience-stores-owner-to-hire-private-security/ Downtown, 13th Ave, and South University in Fargo are going to be shuttered by PetroServe.

Yeah, Denver and Michigan are both bad names.

Toronto is 250 miles from Detroit metro and those Michigan schools.

" ... leaving parts ... " of Fargo. Did you even read the article? PetroServe, a Fargo based business that runs lots of ads during NDSU broadcasts, is closing stations because of crime in Fargo in those areas, namely downtown or 13th Ave. Go be upset with a Fargo business for saying the truth, not me.

This hire would be confusing if Hutter was not on staff. Given he is, I file it under I trust the Hutter hire and there's no concern until there's a performance concern.

Actions speak louder than words. And if that's your takeaway, not businesses leaving parts of town due to crime and violence I can't help you.

Watch to see if GF-based Minnkota Power is in support or not. That's the tell.

Potter -> U17, decommit MiSU, commit to ASU, ... now this ... likely coincidence but still interesting.

KC backing up Mahomes. But I never though Goff would garner that kind of payout. -

Those ASU coeds are a recruiting tool.

So much for the state's largest waterpark (where they tore out softball fields along 45th in Fargo).

DSU is the closest Frontier Conf member? Maybe Mayville and VCSU should join the EDC.
