Tommy Schuster is a game manager. As were Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, and Jeff Hostetler. And those three have really nice rings.

Anything interesting beyond a photo-op happen here?

Back whenever, I told @PCM that even if we end up driving a Jaguar F-type we'd still be looking at the no longer street legal Lamborghini on blocks in the garage. Personally, I painted the windows black and locked the garage and threw away the key.

He's no bass, or even baritone, voice. Higher pitch voices tend to sound less stable in radio. "Jack Michaels" could be crapping his pants and his deeper voice would never waiver. Same goes for Tim Hennessy. (And what I'm hearing is "canned". The ad has run twice more since. I wish they'd cut more ads using Hennessy.)

I'm sitting here listening to a TalkStreamLive channel and suddenly I hear ... Paul Ralston? Yup, talking about 'single game tickets now on sale'. I didn't realize they were using channels like TalkStreamLive (and assumedly TuneIn) for advertising.

It's been here since June 2016. A refresh, or another interpretation, would be good. Something that works more than a hockey shoulder patch, FB helmet, or flag, because as was said then, this logo feels more "secondary" than primary. But it works for now given how it came into the world and what it had to work with. I have no issues with the font and wordmarks. https://campus.und.edu/brand/_files/images/logos/logosystem-mascotposes-2022-600x400.jpg https://campus.und.edu/brand/_files/images/logos/logosystem-mascotclearzone-2022-600x400.jpg https://campus.und.edu/brand/_files/images/logos/logosystem-athleticmark-2022-600x300.jpg https://campus.und.edu/brand/_files/images/logos/logosystem-athleticwordmark-2022-600x150.jpg https://campus.und.edu/brand/_files/images/logos/logosystem-athleticlockup-2022-600x300.jpg

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
The Sicatoka replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
All joking aside, I compared last year's roster (from 2021-22 prospectus) to 2022-23 roster web page. Of the 20 guys on both lists, the average went from 6' 186 to 5'11" 189. Eight guys "shrunk" two inches: both Johnsons, Ness, Albrecht, Senden, Portz, Bast, Jamernik. Montgomery, Jandric, Frisch, Gaber, Hellsten all "shrunk" one inch. No one "grew" taller. -
Respectfully disagree. RB by committee is always a scary proposition. I'd like one to step up and be pressure-situation reliable or be able to do 22 carries when they have the hot hand.

Beat NDSU in FB or hang a hockey banner and it'll change.

You're looking in the wrong portals. It's pretty feisty in a couple other threads: https://forum.siouxsports.com/ Love to hear in FB thread (Bubba) what your team is doing about NIL.

OK, I broke into REA and got the tailor's cloth tape Pooly uses. I stretched it out about 2 inches so 6 foot reads 5 foot 10. It was so Kleven stays 6'4" and not 6'6" and gets stolen by MBB. Riese Gaber is really upset with me for that. -
No, it finally got named correctly. It got the original "Dixie" name because southerners moved to that region of Utah to grow cotton.

19358 into Amelie. And you sound even more like an NDSU fan today. Maybe take a look at how Bison fans view enthusiasm for their program.
-
You mean UND@BC? MSG was 2/3 full. BOS to NYC: 215 miles GFK to NYC: 1512 miles I'd put that open seating onto BC by about 1300 miles.

Officially, no, none. ... and we know everyone always plays by the rules ...

NDSU/EWU novelty game (meaning unique site) will get 40k. (NDSU/UND would probably get more.) No traditional rink is built for 40k, but can a novelty college hockey game get 40k? Ah-yup.

Jam and Schmaltz each need to put about 5% onto their faceoff win percentages of 2021-22. -

If I have a concern this fall, it's in the net. Hellsten has talent but the net was not his last season; will he step up. DeRidder has resume but can he adjust from seeing almost 35 shots per game at MSU to seeing just 25? He won't be as "involved"; can he make the transition. *That's what UND goalies saw on average last season. -

Forwards? Balance. UND's key at forward will be ... Roll Four. Depth through the group is the strength*. Don't be taking penalties. And if the other team does, make them pay. *Quite literally, last season's second half checking line (Ness, Albrecht, Portz) could be in the press box some nights. Maybe not Portz ... -

Defense? It takes six on game day, and eight (injuries) over a year. UND's Eight are plug-and-play ready -- no freshmen: Three fifth-year guys, an alternate captain senior, a U20s junior plus another junior, and two sophomores, all with significant game experience (even, PP, PK). Can any other team say that. -

Given the mix of sizes, speed, skating skills, puck skills, PK ability, PP ability, and experience, UND just might have the best defensive group in toto in college hockey this season. And that's without a guy named Jake Sanderson who would be a junior. That'll surely draw the Faber-lovin' Goophies out of the woodwork. -
A NIL collective works completely outside the framework of a university. Read the link.

I'm not buying that Ethan Frisch is 5'10". I'm that, and last time I stood by him he had me by a couple inches. But I get your point. That said ... The game has and is changing. "Forest" defensemen are giving way to shorter, stouter, mobile defenders. See: 6'0", 192, Cale Makar when he was a UMass sophomore.
