And we haven't broached the subject of the extra hoops if you use a CPAP/BiPAP and want a commercial license. (Two year physicals become annuals I've been told.)
-
I re-watched the game last night. With 7:29 left in the first, Tommy took off right trying for first down. A LB and DL from MoiSt both met him at the sideline, four yards short, and knocked him over hard. What'd he learn? Against these guys I'm not as fast as I think and they'll hit at the sideline. I'm glad he learned that early. It probably, smartly, went into later decisions, like above.
-
Exactly. You need to keep that head on a swivel against the maroon menaces from Denver, Duluth, and UMTC.
-
Where are you getting that info?
-
100% this.
-
So you're saying the game where they did run Tommy is paying dividends now where they're leaving a spy and Tommy doesn't have to run and be in jeopardy, aka they put it on film. Sounds win-win to me.

So far we ended up the better end of the Stage/Steven PK deal: Field Goals Individual Field Goals Statistics # Player FGM-FGA % I20 20-29 30-39 40-49 50+ Long BLK 90 Stage, Adam 3-5 60.00 % 0-0 1-1 2-4 0-0 0-0 35 0 Field Goals Individual Field Goals Statistics # Player FGM-FGA % I20 20-29 30-39 40-49 50+ Long BLK 92 Stevens, Brady 6-8 75.00 % 0-0 2-2 3-3 1-3 0-0 42 1

Was I thinking Taubenheim but wrote Hellevang? We had a crazy run there for a while. How about this Fargo South recruit makes forget them all.
-
Yeah, I'd like 85% FG kicker from over 40 ... but if we're asking, can I get a "seven picks in a season" DB like Craig Riendeau sometime soon too?
-
Cameron Peterka. Then again, Brendan Hellevang was a machine from close; over 45 he got sketchy.
-
And he'll get all-American votes for it too.
-
14, 90, and 2 all had vectors on him to the sideline; and, the DB coming from "Hugos" guaranteed no escape. That was a "live to another play" situation. Pitch it away; run another play. And don't take unwarranted hits.
-
And people wonder why I prefer analytics to (opinion) polls.
-
And risk a clean shot on your starting QB.
-
If Tommy can create time and space for himself and not get hit, I'll accept the throw-aways because some of the other connections are well worth it (this week: 39 yards to Maag; past weeks: game clincher to AdZav).

I've been as down on Bubba as anyone regarding some of his (hyper-)conservative play. But I do think he is learning and adapting. He may have gone for it on 4th as much in five games this year as the total of his prior tenure. And he actually let his offense keep going after 34 points on the board. Dare I say he may finally be changing with the game as it changes around him.

Pollsters confuse UND and NDSU ... ... I had to go and pull the pin on that grenade didn't I.
-
Mr. Chaves former organization is in a tough stretch: EWU is 1-3 (W over TennSt; L to Oregon, MontSt, Florida) and have Massey's 1-2-3 (Sac, Mont, Weber) left in their BSC schedule. Finding seven FCS wins for them is looking straight up hill.
-
Did Mike watch the UND game? See: the "tap out" comment. How else would he know of MoiSt's lackluster second half and terrible body language in the fourth? Glad to have another fan, Mike.
-
Mr. Blake needs to understand that time and space won't be like it was before college. He got one lesson in that from the Bisons in the second.

Massey power ranking moved us from 19 to 15 (+4) MoiSt went -7 to 21. https://masseyratings.com/cf/fcs/ratings

So say you have a guy that's been driving tandem axle trucks since he was 9 or 10. Was float shifting at 12. Went on to a career where he wrote software to automate a manual transmission to be self-shifting based on driver push-button commands so he's driven Class 8s around a test track "a couple times". And he may have written software for school buses so he's driven those too. That guy has to do this whole new hokey-pokey* should he want a CDL? Asking for a friend. *https://www.ndmca.org/entry-level-driver-training-theory-class-a/ I'm telling ya, the elected officials and bureaucrats who come up with this stuff couldn't organize a three-car parade: They can't see the logical outcome of a decision path.

Those really don't align to a coherent strategy.
-
My thinking: 11 -> TD, 2 pt, FG to tie 12 -> It requires 2 TDs or three drives (TD, 2 FG).
-
That doesn't sound right. https://www.dot.nd.gov/divisions/driverslicense/cdlrequirements.htm#cost
