  1. Does not meet the %gobc/gfhockey high first round draft pick criteria. Sorry. Thanks for playing.
  2. More misguided youth in America today.
  3. The Dakota 4 plus WIU are gimmes; beyond that, I don't know the realpolitik well enough.
  4. "Re-factor": Summit League sponsors football Summit League takes over day-to-day operations of NCHC (effectively becoming "Summit Hockey")
  5. Summit? It's at ten, a good number. Now if he wanted to "re-factor" sport offerings that could lock things down also.
  6. Two words: Fish. Bowl.
  7. Is this where @sioux rube enthralls us with tales of ... " ... back in (his) day they took took mush teams in 70 below, and that was air, not wind, across open ground for miles on end to get to Grand Forks and when they got there they didn't even warm up, they just strapped on skates, changed gloves and played. Not even helmets. And we liked it that way."
  8. @SIOUXFAN97 ... hours and hours of "guano loco" notions on realignment here: https://csnbbs.com/forum-637.html PS - If you find old posts by "NoDak" there, yup, same guy: "SiouxVolley" here.
  9. Izzo has the Bison in the NFC North.
  10. Live shot of PAC Commish Kliavkoff speaking to PAC presidents and ADs about television rights (including the potential of the PAC owing money to TV from missed games).
  11. PAC thinks SDSU and SMU are solution. (I scoff.) SDSU is access to SoCal (students, alumni, donors) lost by UCLA/USC leaving. Yet television won't give them BXII numbers, even with. I say the BXII could "dagger" the PAC by offering SDSU (SoCal!) and using SDSU as bait to get the 'zonas (UA/ASU). The BXII would want an even number, so put the fourth slot of SDSU/UA/ASU/____ out for bid. The PAC would truly be jammed up then. UU and CU would be bidding for BXII. UW/UO would be begging the B1G. CaliStan would be truly stuck ... they've wanted to de-emphasize athletics, welcome to Ivy West Division And WasSU and OrSu best be on good terms with the MWC.
  12. I too, and I long for the day when I can forget it all as well.
  13. Basse has two after this. (One of his CC years was Covid and doesn't count.) Castor has one after this.
  14. Anyone have insights why G Carsen Musser (US NTDP U18) is the only one on roster not college committed? https://www.usahockeyntdp.com/roster_players/57264842?subseason=834920
  15. I think next year we may need the backup kicker from football on the hockey roster. I foresee many nights where we'll need an "extra point" to win ... unless Devon Levi and Yaniv Perets both decide that being a pilot would be cool.
  16. Forgive me, but I'm still fretting about the defense next year. We're going to need five minimum is my expectation. The nightmare scenarios are six or even seven. That's a ton of turnover. And that's with a ginormous "?" in the blue paint.
  17. They're with Bismarck High.
  18. Boeser Caggiula Jost Malone Nelson Oshie Parise Pinto Schmaltz Smith Toews JBD Forbert Kierstad Poolman, T Sanderson Stetcher Wolanin Dell McIntyre <- I believe he got a "goalie rule" game (dressed on bench, DNP)
  19. Wolanin called up and goes +3 for the 'cou.
  20. If they'd only let them take their dog out with them maybe the dog would smell what's cookin'. Before folks jump on me, I wore stripes at lower levels. It's not easy, but some things that keep "happening" should be noticed. And at times NCHC officials have the same problem as our team in our zone -> puck hypnosis: they lock onto the puck and miss what's really happening around them. And (repeating myself ad infinitum, ad nauseum) the second referee should be in the press box.
  21. Calvin Vachon's grandpa might know a little about goaltending ... https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/73615/rogatien-vachon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogie_Vachon Three Cups and a Vezina ... meh, ... not bad.
  22. NHL Network had some stat (was only half listening and not watching) that "seasons with 20 goals at even strength in the last five seasons" Brock Nelson is exceeded only by some hack named McDavid.
  23. Go north first, then east on 2 as much as you need to to get to Grand Forks. The worst will be south.
  24. Rewatching the games, I noticed how "clumsy" SCSU was in open ice ... namely around Frisch and behind the play. After he'd move a puck up they seemed to make a late wide-swing turn with their head the other way and ended up "accidentally" bumping Frisch. Strangely, they "accidentally" bumped Frisch more than the other UND D combined. And a few of the "bumps" were at speeds to knock him down. I'm surprised the officials didn't pick up on that ... or not.
  25. @siouxforeverbabyif I'm reading this correctly: Blake is off the board for me, correct?
