  1. So is this the beginning of the beginning, the middle of the beginning or the end of the beginning? Are we sure it's not the middle of the middle? It might just be the end of the middle, or is it sooner than that, like the beginning of the middle? I don't think we're far enough along that this is the end of the end or even the middle of the end. Could it be the beginning of the end?
  2. What an interesting comment by the Governor: He's had Drew Wrigley looking into this issue. If the AG has to recuse himself, what an interesting litigator for the State of ND Mr. Wrigley, or is that Lt. Gov. Wrigley, would make: - current Lieutenant Governor of ND - prior US Attorney for District of ND -- the man who put away Alphonso Rodriguez (the killer of UND student Drew Sjodin) - University of North Dakota graduate
  3. I'm pretty sure the NCAA's attorneys are filling out brackets, and not fretting over this, right now.
  4. Contrary to what some may tell you, athletic "grants-in-aid" (also known as scholarships) are a one year arrangement. If you have four years on athletic scholarship you have four one-year agreements, not one four-year agreement.
  5. But I hear it wasn't a $20 per se, but a couple of $5s and a torn $10.
  6. They got them up to 5 cases? I didn't think they'd go over 3.
  7. He should get the same reprimand that Leigh Jeanotte got after disagreeing loudly and publicly with the SBoHE in Dec 2000. Oh, wait, ... that was ... none.
  8. It's Jacob Cepis in in that get-up?
  9. I agree. I was just surprised to see those initial responsibilities.
  10. He was a QB. Has he played the position? I guess I like to see coaches that have experience in the role (especially younger coaches). Learning how to teach/coach is hard enough; having to learn a position at the same time doubles the difficulty.
  11. Mussman probably knows something about playing offensive line ... (from Wikipedia) ... I'm more concerned about Freund coaching running backs.
  12. The west division would be NCC 2.0: Now with higher expenses!
  13. I know everyone thinks if UND finishes ahead of Michigan UND will go to Green Bay. At risk of repeating myself ... That's my prediction.
  14. Why does a guy who's been dead nearly a decade keep coming up?
  15. Seems there's a Gopher dilemma ... Barriball ... or ... Condon.
  16. I'm going with UND, DU, UMD, UNO, UM, CC, UW, SCSU, UAA, MSUM, BSU, MTU basically I'm picking DU, UMD, UM, UW and MSUM to win tonight.
  17. Well, the fork is stuck in this one ... Here's something to keep you all busy instead.
  18. Well, all we know right now* is that the 2011 WCHA will finish with 1 North Dakota 12 Michigan Tech 2-3-4 will be DU, UMD, and UNO in some order 5-6 will be Minnesota and CC in some order 7-8-9 will be SCSU, UW and UAA in some order 10-11 will be BSU and MSUM in some order. Make your final standings prediction here. *We are just hours away from the start of the last five WCHA regular season games of the season and we still don't know! Tim Hennessy called this situation in the Saturday UND@MTU pregame "a schmozzle" (whatever that is).
  19. It did ... 5:06 Eastern.
  20. At this rate Ben Blood has chance ...
  21. Trupp and Gregoire both enter the 100 point club.
  22. Hextall, cross-check, @ 19:55 of the first. This is where Doug Woog would say "clean sheet power play at the start of the next period" ...
  23. I'm thinking Tech needs to stop taking penalties so Lammy-Davidson-Rodwell and Nelson-Cichy-Gleason get some playing time. Tech: 10 saves ... 6 goals allowed. Ouch.
  24. Trupp (16) from Malone (PPG) @ 17:43 6-1 North Dakota
  25. 5:14 remaining in the first 5-1 North Dakota
