I watched some of the NDSU J State game-it's like a car wreck, you just have to look. Anyway, nothing really impressive about the game, the Bison played average and J State was pathetic. If they are the best of C-USA then anyone can compete in that conference. What I was impressed with, totally blown away actually, was the quality of the TV broadcast. Totally professional top to bottom. We can't even get the game streamed on ESPN+. At least now when NDSU gets blown out by UNLV and Air Force everyone will be able to see it in beautiful clear living color.

The UND loss to NAIA Sioux Falls would have been well worth it had UND taken one lesson from that game. When Kalen DeBoer applied to coach here the administration should have realized how good he was and hired him

Obviously I didn't see the game, just like everyone else. No excuse for it and hopefully that's the last time. I had no problem with the backups going in. That shot my 60 point blowout prediction down but it's worth it. At least we know the problem areas. On to the next game and another ho hum team. St. Thomas beat D2 Winnona State in the last minute or so of the game to break the tie. I'm just not a fan of scheduling this bottom FCS teams.

I've been harping about the really bad FCS (in reality D2) teams we have coming up. I would love to drop garbage teams and stay away Valpo, Drake, LIU, St. Thomas, Mississippi Valley State, etc. It seems that we get some of these teams every year.

Someone let me know when the team gets to 60. No broadcast and playing a third rate team.

That poll is a joke. Valpo finished #28 with 23 points in the "others receiving votes" category. Valpo? They had something like 2 wins last year. Another thing, we should be higher.

If the Vikings have to rely on Wentz as QB for anything other than 2 minutes of mop up duty it's going to be a long long season.

It's legal to drive an ebike on a bike path. The ND legislature clarified that a few years ago if they are no more 750 watts and go no faster than 20 mph with the battery.

My gut feeling tells me to change the wins over the Lions and Bears to loses. Those are good teams and know how to handle the Vikings in their own stadium.

All the articles I've read have JJ and Kyler battling it out for 1 and 2. Nowhere has anyone else said JJ will be number 3.

The thing is, no one moves up without a conference invite and it seems conferences have figured out how to extort $$$ out of the FCS schools. I doubt any FCS school moves up for less dollars than Sac State paid and who knows if it will cost the next school even more. Don't kid yourselves that the next couples schools that move up will get a break on the cost, these conferences all have dollar signs in their eyes. I also don't see any movement for a few years at least while the dust clears and it depends on what Congress does.

I fully agree Kuppy and RT made a huge mistake last time. The big difference now is it probably won't be our decision if we want to move up. I doubt any conference is looking to add a large number of FCS schools so if anyone is expanding it could very likely just be the Montana's and no one else. We may as well enjoy FCS for a while and make some noise here.
