I'd say it's goaltending as Reichmuth peaked as a sophomore. They had two outstanding sophs last year who bolted. They have a few talented players, but consistency, defense, and goaltending are the issues.

I always hope, because I love watching UND play Duluth.

It's gotta be tough to recruit against UND, UMtc, and Wisconsin with great histories and better facilities.

Then when you do get some very good players they've left.

Recently, poor recruiting and youth. They had some players come in the fall of 05 that have not panned out the way they had hoped (Gergen, Greer, Meyers). I think they were also looking at Niskanen and Raymond staying three years.

I can't believe Sandalin would be that foolish to put faith in a first round pick staying more than 2 years. Maybe at one time you could count on it, but not many first round picks stay more than 2 years. When they do, it is truly something special.

As for Raymond, he was the surprising defection for me. Him and Sharp were doing really good.
