siouxnami
High School elite. Week 6 Mattson and Gleason continue to do well. Shattuck actually loses a game. Budish with only a few points. Ryan Walters (stinkin' rodent) also not scoring much, but one of only a handful of 10th graders.

Just an FYI that Ryan Walters only played in a few Elite League games this fall before heading down to Des Moines to play in the USHL before the high school season begins. He'll play full-time with the Bucs the next two seasons before joining the Gophers in the fall of 2010.

siouxnami
any insight into whether we will get Nick Mattson the d man?? He has a number of options, all of them good. I'm sure if he came to UND he would be very successful as he likely would be elsewhere. Given UND's unparalleled success in putting D-men into the NHL, I would think we are a strong possibility. Especially if we can take a relatively unheralded player like Genoway and turn him into a potential top WCHA defender.
GeauxSioux
Q&A's with Nick Pryor and Danny KristoMcKeen's: You were highly recruited, what was it about North Dakota that sold you and made you commit to their program? Kristo: Growing up I lived in Indiana until I was about 13. I didn't have a hockey team to grow up watching. My dad had some connections to the Sioux so growing up I was always a fan. When the time came to choose on a school which I thought would fit me, I thought everything about it was what I wanted.
