NorthDakotaHockey
Hopefully, it will be the curtain on another season at The Ralph. A great venue that is slowly, but surely, seeing the clueless socialites drift away, and seeing the real hockey fans fill the majority of the building. For all who will have the privilege and pleasure of being in The House tonight, bring it down on Jutting and the Mavs, and show the Sioux how much we all appreciate all that they have done, and all that they will still do, this season. Sioux_Hab-it
As I said last night, when Jutting makes his idiotic gestures towards the officials he looks just like Peter Griffin on Family Guy. The poster makers could have had some fun with that one however, I won't be surprised or sad if this is his last game behind the Mav's bench. Siouxdonyms
Hak Pre-Game Comments: Really happy with the way we came out of the locker room last night. Came out with a lot of jump, and we carried it through to a big win. There was a couple soft plays/turnovers in the game, but for the most part, it was a good 60 minutes. Most importantly, we got game one. Now we have to hold the same focus and maybe even up it to close them out. We want to play with speed. That's one of the biggest thing we talked about coming in this weekend. We want to play with speed all night long. I expect them to come out with a level of desperation, but I also expect us to come out with some desperation. Mankato will come out hard tonight. We'll have to be really good. We got a goal from Fabian and Radke last night. Kaip lead the team with 9 or 10 good hits. Phil bailed us out on the key one at the end of the 1st period. The other key point to the game was our response to their 1st goal, coming back and getting a couple goals. That's the nature of the game. Good and bad happens. You have to respond. Not sure about Phil at the end of the game, after getting run. I think he just wanted to have a little converstation with Mark Poolman. We want to play a 5 on 5 game tonight. Have to play well in order to win this series. If you play well and win a series, you deserve to go on.
