sioux7>5 Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I know that we Sioux fans love to hate Phil Kessel, but on a happy note for him. Kessel returns to the ice tonight for the Bruins. I am not a Kessel fan but I am glad he is doing good after his procedure. Go Luck Phil. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Hopefully he'll be 100% soon so we can start razzing him again! Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Is this on tv some place besides NHL Center Ice? Just wondering. Quote
sioux7>5 Posted January 9, 2007 Author Posted January 9, 2007 Is this on tv some place besides NHL Center Ice? Just wondering. It is on NESN I do think. I am not sure if that is part of the Fox Sports group or not. I would like to watch it too. They are playing Ottawa in Ottawa. Quote
redwing77 Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Hopefully he'll be 100% soon so we can start razzing him again! Really. It's not fun to pick on a guy when he has (or has a close scare with) a potentially life threatening condition. It kinda takes the wind out of the sails, ya know? Glad to see he's back. Quote

siouxforeverbaby Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 thanks guys, wish I could see it but I am stuck with basic cable and don't get that. oh well, Good Luck to Phil tonight, glad to see that he is better. Quote
Goon Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Kessel looked a step off (kind of like the rest of his team mates) last night and got lit up twice by Sens players. One time he got pasted hard by Corvo and I can't remember the other player that rocked him. But he is back and will be a factor once he get his legs back. Quote
UNDintheNHL Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Since Kessel has been back, he hadn't scored any points until 2 games ago. In the last 2 games he has 3 goals and an assists. It doesnt seem too much like he has let much off. Quote

That is the second goal that he has had in a shot out that won it for the Bruins. This last couple of games he has been playing with Savard and that helps as oppose to playing with the 2 hacks he has played with most of the season. The game against Buffalo he was set up nicely for his second goal. It was a thing of beauty. Quote
