UND92,96 Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 I certainly don't pretend to know what the problems are with the defense based on listening to the game on the radio, but if you're Dale Lennon and arguably the best defensive coordinator in Sioux history, that first half had to be extremely difficult and frustrating to watch. SiouxMeNow Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Did he just say Caligula Field? yeah...the fargo studio guys have been using that since the pre-game show Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Because the D has really limited Omaha so far. I think we are talking about goal line defense, as opposed to big-play defense. When it's first and goal from the 5, the Sioux defense has been tough this year. Quote

Agreed. I was having flashbacks of the Sioux defending the option in the 80's. Not good. Quote
sultan Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 What a fun game to WATCH this would have been. Listening to a game is just not like watching it. Hopefully we can out score them in the second half. Go Sioux. Quote

SiouxMeNow Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 They just had the replay of the Trenbeath TD where Jay Gibson let out a whoop then said..."I got excited - sorry" before going back to his monotone..just as funny the 2nd time around Quote
dmksioux Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 South Dakot sure isn't putting up much of a fight...they are trailing 28-3 at halftime. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 So did Tony Stein stay home because his wife and he had a kid? First was his wedding, than the kid. Personal life getting in the way of Sioux football! Quote

Personal life getting in the way of Sioux football! Yeah, where are his priorities!!! I think he reads this web site, so congratulations to Tony and his wife. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Yeah, where are his priorities!!! I think he reads this web site, so congratulations to Tony and his wife. It's all about timing!!!!!!! Not tonight honey, we're in the Sioux football window! Quote

fightingsioux4life Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Second half is underway. UNO will start on own 19. Come on Defense, don't let them drive 81 yards now. Quote
SiouxMD Posted November 25, 2006 Author Posted November 25, 2006 Let's win the 2nd half and call it a day. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 I trust our coaching staff to make the right changes at halftime. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 I hate hearing "Miller flushed out of the pocket!" Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 That 1st down rejuvenated them. Let's go Defense! Quote
UND92,96 Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 How things change in one year. Miller played a couple of possession against UND last year, and did nothing. This year, he's like Michael Vick (minus the fumbles). Quote
SiouxMD Posted November 25, 2006 Author Posted November 25, 2006 It would seem both Miller and Dressler are strengthening their bids for the Harlon Hill today. CMON D...I WANT A TURNOVER. GO SIOUX!!! Quote

fightingsioux4life Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 Sounds like the same old garbage in the second half. Come on Sioux!!! Quote
