redwing77
3 - Hale, Parise and Zajac Hale hasn't been signed yet. Still working out the snafu regarding the Malakhov/Mogilny/Salary Cap in general crap. So far they've signed GIonta, but they still haven't been able to resign Hale, Martin, or Clemmenson. redwing77
If you click on the press release above it says they have all signed Wow. If so, then the Devils got lucky. They squeak by with may 1 nickel and 4 pennies to spare under the cap.
dropTHEgloves
In USA Today it said the Devils were able to put away Mogilny's contract and right away signed Gionta, Martin, and Hale.

RedFrog
Devils Salaries According to this, Zajac is going to make about $280,000 more than Z. Parise this year. Don't know quite how that works, I would think that Parise, being a little more hyped, and already having a year under his belt would garner a larger salary. Isn't $984,200 the max for a rookie? Quite impressive!!

siouxforeverbaby
Under their salaries, they also have Z. Parise has a defenseman, not a leftwing like it says on the roster! I don't know why Travis would be paid more though.
The Whistler
I'm just speculating but Parise got much of his money up front.
AZSIOUX
I'm just speculating but Parise got much of his money up front. he got a good bonus but all rookies make the same in the nhl in base contract. so zachs salary went up a bit this year. jerseychaser1
He's number 19....I might have to get that on the back of my Devils jersey.
ScottM
Considering some of his health issues in the past, I'm very glad David Hale was signed again. It's nice to see so many "familiar" names on the Devs' roster too.
