Nice little update on McGregor,

http://telegram.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?...421/1009/SPORTS

McGregor graduated on time last spring, having finished a double major of psychology and pre-med. His long-term career plans including going to medical school and eventually becoming an orthopedic surgeon. That can wait, though. McGregor can fix torn ACLs when he is 60, but he can

"Everybody that thinks that us beating Minnesota was a fluke is completely wrong," Sixsmith declared. "We were a pretty damn good hockey team last year."
"Now that we have a little bit of attention, people will realize that we are a good hockey team, we're not just `the team that beat Minnesota'," Sixsmith said.

Holy Cross was picked third in the Atlantic Hockey Association.

May be you guys should sell your Ice Times ( http://www.gopherpucklive.com/viewtopic.ph...23f0ac22#106909 ) like you sell Crappy Furniture. Have the sales manager fired and give the job to: Cujo http://www.gopherpucklive.com/viewtopic.php?t=5063 ???

Just read in CrossSports that McGregor got cut by the Sharks. (OK, anyone, run with it.)

Aeros signed Steve Shields so it looks like Quesada will be going to the ECHL. Some one also posted in CrossSports today that Quesada was at the Wild's camp, got hurt and is out for 4-6 weeks.

Too bad, about McGregor. Quesada did get hurt, his knee. He had surgery on it last week. I heard this from him.

Just checked the ahl website and Quesada is still listed on the Sharks roster, they have four on there.

Just a little Holy Cross Hockey update for anyone who cares.... The Crusaders played the University of Ottawa in their exhibition game on Saturday night (10/7), they ended in a tie. Holy Cross goals from junior Chris Trovato and freshman Peter Lorinser. For a small article, here's a link.

Go Crusaders. GO FIGHTING SIOUX!!!

PS. I will soon be talking to Quesada, McGregor, and the rest of the boys, so I'll update everyone on that when that happens.

If you've got the free time to browse SiouxSports, hopefully you also have time to vote Holy Cross forward James Sixsmith into the Skills Competition at the 2007 Frozen Four.

By the way, last month Sixsmith became the all-time leading scorer in HC Hockey history.

Thanks for your support

P.S. - I now do pregame and intermission reports for the AHL Worcester Sharks, and give the Sioux as much positive airtime as possible. Especially when they beat the Gophers on back-to-back nights! :D

I suppose this guy will be getting hate mail from Disguntled Gopher fans.

I think UMN and Holy Cross Should have a two game series. I suggest at REA.

I bet we could fill the place. :D
