SFSIOUX#1 Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 We need to come out solid in the 2nd, weather the storm and then put the pressure on. Next goal is HUGE. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 That's not the kind of hit that Smaby was talking about in pregame... Lets hope this sparks us... like when Stafford got kicked out in Duluth Let's hope for slow drying ice to disrupt puck flow at the beginning of the 2nd on the CC PP. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Oh man, Jonesy exerted to much 'emotion' in that cross-checking from behind. Quote
01grad Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 What's the deal with this stupid checking from behind on us all of the time? Why don't the coaches show video on why this is being called so they can learn what not to do. It's almost a given every game now. We must lead in this category by about 10 more checking from behind than any other team. Quote

01grad Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Hey fanatic, what is pwn? Is it supposed to be owned or what? I am a PE teacher and many of my kids always are saying powned. I don't know where it came from. Just curious. Quote
PCM Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 It's probably a good thing the period ended when it did. Hennessy said the Tigers were jacked. The Sioux needed to get into the locker room and get their heads on straight. Quote
01grad Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Hey PCM, when are you going to be interviewed on tv again during a game? Thanks for all of the insight and the great job you do for the SIOUX!!! Quote
PCM Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Lets hope this sparks us... like when Stafford got kicked out in Duluth It's not the end of the world. Sioux gave up the first goal to Minnesota, had Fabian tossed out of that game and won anyway. Quote
PCM Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Hey PCM, when are you going to be interviewed on tv again during a game? That seems to happen about once every two years. Apparently that's how long it takes Pat Sweeny to forget about what a bad idea it is to have me as a guest. Thanks for all of the insight and the great job you do for the SIOUX!!! You're welcome. Sioux R Kool Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 The SIOUX will kill off this major penalty, then dominate! Quote
WiSioux Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 12th major penalty of the season... believes 10 are CFB... leads the WCHA Quote
NORGE Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 unreal... how many were questionable calls? Quote
UNDLAW Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 I don't remember ever hearing that it happened. I'd have to look it up to be sure. I wasn't "present" last night. I don't know of any college - NCAA anway- goalies scoring goals, but I know in the NHL, the following goalies have scored goals (and there may be more but alcohol and... ah... what was I talking about): 1) Ron Hextall (actually shot the puck the length of the ice to score a goal and I think he did it again in a playoff game); 2) Martin Brodeur; 3) Chris Osgood; and 4) Jose Theodore Quote
PCM Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Third period under way. CC had 4:30 left on their major power play. Quote
PCM Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Sioux doing a good job on the penalty kill so far. 2:07 left in the major power play. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Sterling can't get anything so far tonight. Let's hope his luck continues for our sake. Quote
PCM Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Zajac nearly scores shorthanded. Sioux kill off the major penalty, giving CC just one shot on goal. Game still tied 1-1 in the second period. Quote

brianvf Posted February 5, 2006 Posted February 5, 2006 Nice, just 1 sog! Hope the Sioux can get some momentum from that great kill. Quote
