This is about a week old, and I listened to this whole interview. Bucci is a fake college hockey supporter, and this is why people don't like him outside of him not knowing the game. How do you say we need to save Mercyhurst a few days earlier but want to kill off the AHA. Can't grow the game when you want to (checks notes) have divisions like there is now. So, do they make D1, D2, D3, D4 (current D2), and D5 (current D3)? 

Growing the game, well how about more school do what UND does and play a destination game for the US Hockey Hall of Fame Game. Playing a ACHA team that wants to move up helps a bit and an easy tuneup game to start the year. He says get TV contracts, that would be great, but CBSSN basically showed less and less NCHC games year to year. Hockey East has NSEN that is good up there. BTN puts hockey mostly on BTN+ which is separate from having BTN (Gopher fans complain about that). Then there is ESPN and we can all agree that was some trash broadcasting of the NCAAs, the worse I've ever seen. And if an ESPN wanted to have these games, where are they, where are the "Hey we want to put this on TV". Bucci's own employer doesn't put college hockey on TV very much if at all and they have ESPN+ deals with the ECHC and Hockey East. 

This whole idea he's talking about, no one wants. Games on a weekday, everyone hates having Thursday and Sunday games already. But hey let's save college hockey from the non-existent college hockey bogyman.

I know its en vogue to pile on bucci, and this idea is terrible, but I think he did a pretty good job during the broadcast this year.  He has improved a ton compared to last time we participated in a frozen four.  My 10 year old kept commenting on how exciting he was making it.  

I think he still has a huge +/- rating for college hockey overall.
