CoteauRinkRat Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 This looks like a great pickup for the Sioux. He definitely has some speed. Quote
UND92,96 Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 I had heard through the grapevine that a dI transfer running back was coming, but I didn't know his identity until the Herald article. Had UND signed Brady out of high school in the spring of 2004, it would have been a huge coup as he was definitely one of the top backs in Minnesota. The Sioux may finally have the combination of size and speed that has been lacking at the running back position for quite some time. From what I've heard, Mussman is very excited about this kid's potential. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Can he play this year or does he have to sit out? Quote
The Sicatoka Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 If he's eligible otherwise (credits transfer so he's on track), being an "across divisions" transfer he doesn't have to sit out a season. Quote
bigmrg74 Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Phhhhsss.... He played for Wasted Michigan. Darn it, why couldn't he have found a Michigan girl and wanted to stay close to her?? Quote
ESPNInsider Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Phhhhsss.... He played for Wasted Michigan. Darn it, why couldn't he have found a Michigan girl and wanted to stay close to her??  <{POST_SNAPBACK}> probably cuz there aren't any Michigan girls that weigh less then the fulback he runs behind Quote
sucka Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Does anyone know if he is planning on coming here for summer workouts? Quote
The Sicatoka Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Does anyone know if he is planning on coming here for summer workouts? What are the rules for transfers? Can they do that? Quote
teamsioux Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 What are the rules for transfers? Can they do that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If everything is in order such as grades and transcripts...will he be ready/eligible to play immediately if everything is? Quote
BitBucket Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Sioux land transfer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't get too excited about this transfer....he doesn't have that "team" attitude. Quote
DamStrait Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Don't get too excited about this transfer....he doesn't have that "team" attitude. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If he expects to play for Dale Lennon, he had better have a team attitude Quote
The Sicatoka Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Don't get too excited about this transfer....he doesn't have that "team" attitude. What a beautiful first post. Thanks for coming out. Sorry, we don't validate parking. Have a safe drive. Quote
airmail Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 If everything is in order such as grades and transcripts...will he be ready/eligible to play immediately if everything is? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I heard through the grapevine a while back that this young man was interested. My source also told me that the players on the Western Michigan team are able to transfer without a waiting period, due to "problems" with the program... although he was not specific. He eventually signed with Western Michigan, but the Broncos' coaching staff was fired after last season, which was one factor in Brady's decision to transfer. Could this be a result of an NCAA violation or something along those lines? Quote
