He's looking solid but not spectacular.  The real issue is our defense so far, losing Sharp and Väisänen isn't going to help and certainly hurt us Saturday.  Word is Sharp might be back soon, and that Väisänen could be out a long time.

How does Notre Dame keep pulling these monster recruits lately?
They couldn't even muster 20 sog against UMN tonight, and got shutout.
Yet they have some dang good forward recruits incoming.  Maybe those players have never actually watched Notre Dame play.

Sheahan is a good recruiter and the Notre Dame academic/prestige brand sells itself well. Then again, most of us remember when Sasha Pastujov, Logan Cooley, Rutger McGroarty, and more were committed to Notre Dame at one time and then all decommitted and the Fighting Irish were left with egg on their face.
