U2Bad1 Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 TD, Bowenkamp to Grossman <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought Bowenkamp was out for the season? Quote
Smoggy Posted November 20, 2004 Author Posted November 20, 2004 After a big kickoff return and a reverse for 15 yards, our defense got a big sack and held. MTU punts into endzone. Bowemcamp in at QB. He got that last TD. Quote

Smoggy Posted November 20, 2004 Author Posted November 20, 2004 I thought Bowenkamp was out for the season? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He came back against UNO, but didn't play well and slightly reinjured himself. It seemed like Belmore was doing all right, so what happened to him? Quote
sprig Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 He came back against UNO, but didn't play well and slightly reinjured himself. It seemed like Belmore was doing all right, so what happened to him? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Belmore got his bell rung on a third down qb keeper and went off wobbly. Concussion likely. Bowencamp is throwing much better than he was earlier in the year when he played. Arm looks good. Hard to tell on TV that there are people there, although you can hear the Sioux fans. Stands are way up a hill on the other side of a track, long way from the field. Looks a bit like a ND class B high school field. Quote
Smoggy Posted November 20, 2004 Author Posted November 20, 2004 We had a good first half. The bad news is that we are only up by 14. That deficit can be overcome in a hurry. An INT, punt return, etc.. I expect Tech's offense to play better. They will probably run a few trick plays and go for it on 4th down more. It seems like desparation, but the coach has already been doing it. Our offense needs to keep moving the ball. I'm sure MTU will be blitzing some more to try to confuse our offense. No time for us to get complacent. We are a classic team for having a lead at halftime and then letting the other team get back. Quote

BisonSuck Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Bowenkamp does look good. Very confident in the pocket. We missed that senior confidence at QB!!! Quote
farce poobah Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Tech gets a field goal, Sioux D with a good red zone stop. 14-3. Quote

U2Bad1 Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 It is funny how they call bowenkamp UND"s back up quarterback. Quote
Smoggy Posted November 20, 2004 Author Posted November 20, 2004 UND's drive stalls. MTU comes out and throws an interception again. Ryan Menke with the pick! Quote

U2Bad1 Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 that was a perfect situation to go for it on 4th down.. then they miss the field goal. Quote
