Looking at DU's roster, their leading scorers are nearly all SO/FR...unless they get some early departures, they're gonna be real good for the next 1-2 years as well.

Pushes us back down to 6th place, trailing UMD by 2 points and only one point ahead of CC.
Next weekend UMD plays last place Miami...we need to hope that Miami can steal some points and that we get as many points as possible in Colorado.

Well, anytime you beat a powerhouse team like that, sometimes you just can't control your emotions.  ;)

I was at the Friday game and after the game was out of hand, they were going a bit long with the goal horn. Their drumline that goes to the Friday games pretty much played most of the 3rd period during play. First time I've seen that at a game. Thought it was a bit excessive, but then ost of the students left after the 2nd period.

USCHO First Bracket look:

So the final brackets are:

Fargo

  1. Minnesota
  2. Ohio State
  3. Michigan Tech
  4. RIT

Allentown

  1. Michigan
  2. Penn State
  3. Minnesota State
  4. Omaha

Bridgeport

  1. Quinnipiac
  2. Western Michigan
  3. Boston University
  4. Cornell

Manchester

  1. Denver
  2. St. Cloud State
  3. Harvard
  4. Northeastern

That’s what we have for this week. Plenty of time for these regions to shift, not to mention the teams inside the bubble.

Last four in: Omaha, Northeastern, Cornell and Atlantic Hockey champion (RIT)
Last four out: Notre Dame, Alaska, Michigan State, Merrimack

I guess it must have slipped his mind that QU and Cornell can't play in the 1st round in Bridgeport.  ;)
