Ad Sizing on mobile

Hey @jimdahl,

Did you increase the size of the ads at the top of the page in mobile? 

As of a few days ago, a larger square ad loads vs the previous rectangle ones. However, it takes an extra second for the ad to load vs the rest of the page. So the page loads with an empty rectangle space but after a second it switches to a bigger square, thus pushing the previously loaded content lower.

It's not a deal breaker, just annoying it jumps after a second (usually right when im trying to click a link). See below for the before/after.

It's just a single generic google ad that tries to "dynamically" fill the width. So, I'm guessing this particular hoverboard vendor bought an ad that was more square shaped than normal (ads of that particular width are probably usually wide short rectangles). That does seem kind of obnoxious, I'll look to see if I can restrict the maximum height they can take.

Thanks Jim. Right now, all of them are loading square for me. Even ArabianDate.com, where I can meet the Turkish ladies.

I generally log onto SS from my lab top. Today I used my phone. Large square add loads and engulfs the screen, with a blank spot for a bit just prior. 

I never knew there was this much crop damage in Cavalier

These new large adds on here are getting to me. I use my desk top, laptop, and phone. All have the same problem.

UPS, FedX, & Speedy D are all showing up at my home and business daily.

Sorry it took me a while (it was a significant topic of discussion on google threads that lots of people were struggling with the same problem, just one example), but I think I finally have it addressed. The single ad per page should be back to its previous, svelte self. Feedback always welcome!

On the "full screen" theme for mobile. Somehow the subcategories under "UND sports" has "collapsed" and I can't see it. Wonder how to bring it back. 

Edit: nevermind. I found the very faint small arrow in the upper right corner.

Adds are now down to a smaller size, much more pleasant to a sports fan that needs to get to the latest UND sports gossip.
