sprig Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 Late in the second, Mich leads 2-1. Michigan with 6 shots, BC with 24. Quote
sprig Posted March 28, 2004 Author Posted March 28, 2004 BC ties it late in the game. May be OT. Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 Puck's about to drop in NH, for OT... 2 OT games in the regional finals, 3 one goal games...what a year Quote
Superman0099 Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 anyone got a link for the audio broadcast? Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 Off the crossbar, off Montoya's back, and still stays out of the net...W W Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 Where the hell did the Victory feed go...in the middle of OT!! Are you kidding me? Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 Midco just pulled the Victory Sports feed. I don't think we'll get it back. Not since the normal Midco crap is up now. Quote
sprig Posted March 29, 2004 Author Posted March 29, 2004 B Eaves 10 minutes into OT; 3-2 BC Tickets in Boston will now be hard to come by, a scalper's dream. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 Who's calling Midco to complain about this? Quote
PCM Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 Ben Eaves comes back after being injured to score the game winner in overtime. It's BC 3, Michigan 2. Quote
Smoggy Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 I've gotta think that Voce has now won the Hobey. People out east won't have a clue who Lessard is. Plus, the west people will split votes between Lessard, Parise and Bochenski. Quote

SiouxFanInBoston Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 I really can't see Voce getting the award. No real reason for it, except that I didn't see him shining out above the other BC players on the team, like some of the other candidates do/did for their teams. Too bad Michigan didn't pull it out. I had hoped all the BC fans in my office tomorrow would be sharing my misery about the F4. This is going to be a very long couple of weeks. What a difference a day makes! Oh well -- Go DOGS! Quote
redwing77 Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 I heard over ESPN radio the commentator (not the phone in guy) admit to Eastern Bias. I couldn't believe my ears. The only sad thing is that was in context with NCAA Basketball and not hockey. Be that as it may, I think the only way Lessard wins the Hobey is for UMD to win it all. Eastern bias is VERY strong and I believe it is stronger than numbers. Quote

The award will be given Friday after the semi's, but the voting I believe is done before game play. At this point, Lessard and Parise and company have done all they can. Quote
