Those are going to be exceptionally rare due to the fact that the Sioux logo is much more contraversial than the Geometric or the one that is currently used. The best I can say is to find a dealer in rare merchandise and ask if he can help you find it. Of course, even if you locate one on your own, you will pay dearly for it. Actually, I think one or two may be linked through this site. However, most game worn sweaters will probably run you a few hundred bucks, or more. Your best bet may be to find a reputable sporting goods store the could replicate the jersey you like, but that will still cost you some $$$. Diggler
Four letters for you.... EBAY I have never seen one on ebay. You can hardly ever find a real UND jersey on Ebay. A Palmiscno one just ended yesterday and that was the first I had seen in a while. I'm still happy that I got one from the last game at the old Engelstad. They are very dificult to get because those who have them rarely want to sell them. I'll never sell mine.
elmduf
I have an old Blackhawks style jersey. I won't sell it for sentimental reasons. .. I like the new jerseys that Ralph got us a lot better than the old Blackhawk Jersey and the old "Geo" design.

YaneA
I bought Tim Skarperud's game-worn jersey from the last game at the old Ralph. It's the retro with the Blackhawk-style logo and the lace-up neck. I never wear it because it's huge but would also never think of parting with it. Just bide your time--I can imagine an exhibition game in the future where the boys will play each period in various throwbacks and I'd bet they'll go on sale soon after. elmduf
I think they just might sell a few if they were available. Yeah, I'd buy one if they had them available. It seems that my 20 year old jersey has shrunk over the years....along with a lot of my other clothes from that era. I guess they just didn't make good clothes then. Diggler
They sell those old '60s style throwbacks at the REA gift shop right? Well, here's a crazy idea... maybe they could offer '80s style throwbacks. I think they just might sell a few if they were available. Just a few. MafiaMan
I heard whispers of a logo change back in February or March of 1992. At the last Sioux home game, I purchased a green Blackhawk-style jersey with #9 on the back (Greg Johnson). At the time, the Sioux did not have nameplates on the back of the road jerseys. This jersey is one of the all-time favorites in my 20+ jersey collection, but I rarely wear it anymore due to some small holes in it caused by time and washing. It's an awesome jersey, though, and would take a TON of money being offered to me to part with it. I usually wear my Russian jerseys around rinks now just to have something different. My last trip up to GF, I got tons of stares and several "where can I get one of THOSE?" comments on my red CCCP jersey and my Soviet Red Army jersey. I can hook you up with those and others for around $50 if you want one. The 1992 Sioux jersey...sorry...I just can't consider it.
MafiaMan
Just a footnote...you'll never see the 1980-1994 throwbacks anytime soon. The new ownership of the Blackhawks denied UND the permission to use the logo, hence the change. Unless UND pays Bill Wirtz a ton of money, you won't see that anytime soon. Diggler
How come UND was able to have those throwback jersey's for the last game at the Ralph then? Did the Hawks get purchased recently?
MafiaMan
Dagies, If they wore jerseys with the old Blackhawk logo on them, trust me, UND paid big bucks to Bill Wirtz to be able to do it. There was an article on the sorry state of the Blackhawks a few weeks ago in Sports Illustrated. The guy's a penny pincher selling off every asset to try to make the team "sellable." Of course, they're down to about 5,000 season ticket holders in that process. They're the Atlanta Hawks of the NHL.
LadyDy
I have two game-worn old Sioux jerseys from the 80's. They are the green road jerseys. One is Jim Archibald's - he was my absolute all time favorite Sioux player. It is my pride and joy - I wear it to every Sioux game and I plan to be buried in it! I do love the new logo and I have one of those jerseys too - I wear that one during the day of game days, but the ole' autographed Archie jersey comes out for the games. When he was inducted into the Sioux Hall of Fame last year I had thoughts of retiring the jersey too (to preserve it) - but I can't seem to bring myself to pack it away.
