tilis
I'm not sure I understand the hate for summit basketball. They had their highest conference Rpi ever despite oral Roberts and Oakland leaving and don't see it falling to the mid 20s soon. Their tourney atmosphere is about to take off next year. The big sky tourney bracket is better rewarding regular season play. To be honest Montana fans want the big sky commish gone for not taking ndsu. A question for some. Would any of us take a loss to ndsu to be able to watch und playing today or give up the nickel for three national titles.
jdub27
To be honest Montana fans want the big sky commish gone for not taking ndsu. I have not seen a single instance of this being remotely true.

jdub27
http://www.egriz.com/grizboard/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=66000 I guess I missed a couple keyboard warriors which includes some NDSU fans. My mistake. I would take Fullerton over the Douple/Viverito combo every time.
WeAreNorthDakota
I like the way the Big Sky handles the tournament but I'd be interested to see what the turnout would be for a tournament held in Denver. I know I'd be more inclined to attend a non-UND hosted tournament if it was in a predetermined venue in a major city. Especially one as easy to fly into as Denver. Had a buddy that went out to the Pac 10 (12) (8) tourney in Vegas at the MGM Grand last weekend. Said it was crazy, and a great deal of fun. In my opinion that is what had made the WCHA Final Five so successful. Fans could plan on going every year, and would go even if their team didn't make it. bincitysioux
Check out the stands at the NCHC championship game tonight to get an idea of what attendance would look like for a Big Sky basketball tournament in Denver.
