smokey the cat Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Hard to beat a hot one from KK and any donut from Sandy's in WF is never a bad choice. Sandy's are really good. Welch's Bakery in Park River made great cake donuts. Bakery in Langdon were really good also. I always liked to try cake donuts at little town bakeries. Chicken Scratch Bakery that was in Hillsboro like 10-15 years ago were unreal. Quote
UNDColorado Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Out here we have Dunkin' Donuts, which is actually pretty good for a quick breakfast, but I still prefer Tims any day. Great addition to the GF market. This, along with Parrots Cay will be the for sure stops next time I am up there. Now let's sweep CC this weekend! Quote
UNDColorado Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Their coffee is IMO the best you can find in a retail setting. This is the coffee I use at home. WAY better than starbucks. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 The Canadian Maple donut at Timmy's is solid! Very tasty. And as I'm about to head back out in the -18 temp I ask the young lady if she can warm up (refill) my coffee before I go. She looks at me as if I am speaking in Swahili and and asking if I can touch her chest. Normally that's the look I get when I ask my wife for...... 2 Quote

Does not surprise me she did not understand what warming up the coffee meant. Quote
