At the rate teams are bailing on their conference it just keeps getting easier for a team from that conference to make the tournament - and many of their fans welcome that. Quote

Yeah, but that won't lift any program to the level of Gonzaga. Gonzaga became the mid-major no one wanted to play and that takes more than being in a weaker auto-bid conference and getting in more often. Quote
