bcblues
This webcast guy is ridiculous......absolutely garbage. Total homer, but actually doing a decent call of calling the play.
BigGreyAnt41
Total homer, but actually doing a decent call of calling the play. I agree. The calling is good. The reactions are obviously slanted towards Notre Dame, but that's who writes the checks. As Wilbur said, this must be how TH sounds to the opposition. No reason to complain about it. bcblues
I wish this web feed was better, and the broadcast was better. The choppy buffering in the webcast really disrupts the flow of play. And what the choppiness doesn't ruin, the absolutely terrible camera angles does. Just because you have corner crash cameras doesn't mean you have to use them every 5 seconds...... bcblues
Saunders is keeping us in this game. SOG: 32-8 advantage Irish

kfah1
Getting outshot 32-8...?! Pretty sad... Saunders playing well... good thing!
Wilbur
I will agree. Does a very good job of calling the play by play. But the great ones don't let you know what team they're rooting on.
kfah1
Lets go UND... PP... let's get another couple of shots and hopefully a goal!

But the great ones don't let you know what team they're rooting on. I think Tim Hennessy is awesome and he calls opposition goals with a lot of enthusiasm. I really don't think he's much of a homer, at all. Not when compared to the average radio announcer.

BigGreyAnt41
Is it me or does it still show it as the 1st period on the webcast? Must just be you. It says "2nd" on mine, right next to the clock.
BigGreyAnt41
End of the 2nd 2-1 UND SOG: 32-13 Irish
kfah1
Must just be you. It says "2nd" on mine, right next to the clock. They changed to the 2nd at about 1 minute something left... Too bad they couldn't capitalize on that last face off in the ND zone... Very fortunate score for UND thus far...
bcblues
TH does not stand for "Total Homer". But he is (of course) bias. When I listen to a "foreign feed", I completely expect a total homer calling the game. If they are decent, I can live with it. I actually enjoy hearing the homer comments and weighing them against my own bias. What I cannot stand is a total homer who does a piss-poor job of calling the game. Unfortunately, in this day and age that is far too common. I think Tim Hennessy is awesome and he calls opposition goals with a lot of enthusiasm. I really don't think he's much of a homer, at all. Not when compared to the average radio announcer.
