But SDSU followed up with a TD but then failed at the 2 point conversion. UC Davis 8 lil' SDSU 6 ~9:00 left in 2nd. SFA 7 MSU 0 early in 1st. Special teams hasn't been going well at all this week either. Beside the blown onside kick try, UW ran a fake punt with great success. And after PSU finally moved the ball a bit, they had a 4th and 3, brought out their kicker and had the kick blocked. Oh, and UW returned it for a TD. With the WAC dead, the Big Sky could really start to draw more attention in the West even at the FCS level. And that will help the image of the conference not only football but all other sports. Obviously Portland State isn't going to pull the FBS upset today (and honestly I don't feel the greatest about our chances tonight). At least PSU got on the board and avoided the shutout.
