I'm guessing it's only something you can see on your own. Quote

SiouxFanatic Posted July 16, 2012 Posted July 16, 2012 Guessing it's for moderator's to send warnings to a user when they are breaking the rules. My bet is you rack up enough warning "points" and you'll get get banned temporarily or something like that. Quote

Forums with more formal moderation systems could use it to track infractions and change user statuses when they had accumulated a certain number of warning points. They way we moderate here we don't really track formal points, so the only way it will go up is if a mod contacts you for some reason, and there are no automatic status changes based on the points. And, yes, you can only see your own. Quote
