108498 Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I do not see any way the Sioux could upset Minn again. A upset is do able when teams slow down to fast, but two in a row is almost impossible.
SiouxFanatic Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I think it is possible and I hope the Sioux upset them again. I am attending the regionals this year and their arrogance/cockiness is through the roof compared to what it's been last few years. Reading and hearing their negative comments how we suck etc. just makes it ever the more sweeter if UND gets a chance to spoil their season. Gotta see if the Gophers can finish off BU first though.
passit_offthegoalie Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I think Minnesota is looking past BU more than we were looking past Western Michigan. I hope BU beats them in 5 overtimes.
108498 Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 minn up 1-0 Hope they go up by three and fall asleep again today.
Hayduke Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Don't you mean you see a way that the #2 seeded Minnesota men's hockey team could upset the #1 seeded North Dakota men's hockey team? Remember, it would be Minnesota upsetting the higher ranked team.
108498 Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 Sioux only won the seed because of the first upset. Minn won the regular season title and then lead 3-0 before falling in looking ahead. Most fans who follow hockey would know what went on and call MINN THE BETTER TEAM.

Most fans who follow hockey would know what went on and call MINN THE BETTER TEAM. The #1 seed is the better team. That's why it's the #1 seed. The WCHA Tournament Champions, North Dakota, won that on the ice. Minnesota lost. 6-3. Remember? If Minnesota plays North Dakota tomorrow, UND comes in the favorite. Why? Because they are the WCHA Tournament Champions and the #1 seed. #4 in the national polls. Minnesota is ranked lower. All college hockey fans know that. Don't they? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? But, we'll see tomorrow if they play who is truly the better team. A #1 ranked North Dakota squad who is favored. Or the Minnesota squad, ranked #2 and is the UNDERDOG in their own town.
108498 Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 I call a 5-1 Minn win tomorrow if they win today. The Golphers are at home and are angry with the sioux. 2-2 all Go BU

The Golphers are at home and are angry with the sioux. 2-2 all Go BU And they probably said they were angry last Friday too. They always talk a big game when they're being interviewed, but it's different to do it on the ice.
geaux_sioux Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 And they probably said they were angry last Friday too. They always talk a big game when they're being interviewed, but it's different to do it on the ice. They dont have anyone on their team that leads like they used to in Ballard and Potulny and others when they would actually win playoffs titles.
108498 Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 Remember everyone they lead 3-0 and fell off. Sioux did not win last weekend. MINN lost Big difference.
Hayduke Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Reasons that UND is the favorite tomorrow. Odds are that they will win. Why? Three reasons: Yup. Looks like three good reasons to me. UND. #1 Seed. Favored to go to the Frozen Four. Again.
108498 Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 Sioux get ready Minn up 4-2. They will let the lead slip away like last week.
Hayduke Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Remember everyone they lead 3-0 and fell off. Sioux did not win last weekend. MINN lost Big difference. I'll agree with you there. Minnesota = Loser Yup.
108498 Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 Minn won 3 out of four during the regular season against the Sioux. Final five is magical for the Sioux. Do not expect the same tomorrow.
