yzerman19
I was 10 years old and my parents had season tickets, so I saw almost every home game. I did not go to Detroit, but I loved that team dearly and remember them like yesterday.

Dave Berger
I was 12. My dad went without me, and told me later that he thought I "wouldn't want to go". I've forgiven him. That being said, I've never seen UND win a national championship in person.... Dave
siouxya
My husband and I were there. Partied so hard after winning, we missed the charter back to GF! Begged our way on to a flight to Mpls - turned out the Gopher team was on it! We were the last 2 on the plane - suffice it to say, they were none to happy to see us in our Fighting Sioux apparel!! Hopped a flight home and got back in time for the celebration at the old Ralph!

farce poobah
Yup. It was surreal. 17,000 dressed in green and white. 15,000 in stunned silence at getting drubbed. 2,000 going crazy at the awe-inspiring performance by the Hrkac Circus. lomackman
I remember paying like a $156 for a round trip ticket on Northwest that year to go to Detroit.
