Ray77 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Anyone just hear what Woog said about that "scrum"? Something about how the Gopher player should have turned around and popped Miller and that Miller is pretty courageous until someone turns around and stands up to him?!!!! WHAAAT? Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Now our own announcers are buying the tired player excuse. If they are that down and out why play them? I can think of Sioux players who didn't miss a beat after the WJHC. Schroeder didn't look very tired in that scoring rush by the Goofs. Quote

I can think of Sioux players who didn't miss a beat after the WJHC. Schroeder didn't look very tired in that scoring rush by the Goofs. They're also not battling travel fatigue. Yes, they played a lot of games, but they didn't have to adjust to 8 or 9 hour differences. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 The Gopher fans look like pee stains in the white out and the fun begins. Hextall has taken a number for tomorrow night guaranteed. I hope he gets to give Stoa a much needed attitude adjustment. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Stoa should be ejected. And what was Fairchild doing? Grabbing Chay's helmet? Quote
BudLight Posted January 10, 2009 Author Posted January 10, 2009 That was a pretty good scrum. haha Quote
kfah1 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Stoa's a punk... cheap shots on Hextall. Good intensity to close out the game though Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Whatever happens, Stoa should get an extra two. Quote
Ray77 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 So after all of that, here's how much sense the idiots on FSN make: Mazocco thinks Hextall should get an interference call because he was in the crease without the puck. Yeah, he was hit into the goalie, but that doesn't matter. Woog thinks that was a good job by the Gophers and that UND started it by running into the goalie. Quote
wsdSIOUXfalls Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 3 of each team in the penalty box..... Quote
BudLight Posted January 10, 2009 Author Posted January 10, 2009 Sioux get a PP out of all that! Let's go Sioux Quote

Maybe I misunderstood, I thought he meant Stoa should have gotten an interference call for interfering with Hextall. And I was right. Stoa got an extra two minutes. But now there's a phantom call on us......or maybe the clock just didn't start right. Quote

Looked like Hextall was playing it off his backhand and got pushed in by Stoa. Quote
BudLight Posted January 10, 2009 Author Posted January 10, 2009 Sioux get a PP out of all that! Let's go Sioux a double minor for Stoa, so he gets 4 mins Quote
BudLight Posted January 10, 2009 Author Posted January 10, 2009 Another scrum, more people might be heading to the box... Quote
Bob in Wisconsin Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Frank just said "There's been a lot of jawwing between the Minnesota penalty box and a fan in white..."....I wonder if thats our guy from the other thread..... Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Apparently a fraction of a second is "well, well, well after the whistle". Because Kozek's shot was "well, well, well after the whistle". Quote
BudLight Posted January 10, 2009 Author Posted January 10, 2009 Kozek in the box now... There's 4 Sioux players and 3 Gopher players in the box... remains a 5 on 4 PP for the Sioux Quote
Ray77 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Apparently a fraction of a second is "well, well, well after the whistle". Because Kozek's shot was "well, well, well after the whistle". It was also a "Canadian-type of play"! Quote
