Is anyone from the Fargo/GF area headed to Denver?

I was thinking more along the lines of locally I want to learn how to snowboard this winter. So any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone know any info on good places to ski/snowboard? And when places open and all that good stuff?

Oak Grove was evacuated very early this morning.

CodeRED alert issued for sandbag volunteers in north Fargo This was sent to me at about 6:30pm. If you're around and can help, it would be greatly appreciated!

Volunteers are definitely still wanted, the National Guard hasn't said anything about that. The city, however, is asking that people stay within their neighborhoods to help out as opposed to driving across town to help people. There are a few neighborhoods that have already been evacuated, or evacuation is in progress. I just heard that Meritcare is evacuating their patients.

Heard that some houses south of Fargo (between Briarwood and Oxbow) have already been lost. I really hope this doesn't happen to too many people, but if this keeps up, it will be a very sad situation!

Bismarck probably could've used some help too. Just saw pictures from there and the Missouri River has already taken over. Good luck to everyone sandbagging and in flooding neighborhoods across ND and MN!
