Sioux-cia
Yeah.....Drew's lucky it ended when it did. But he stood up for his teammate so kudos to him for that. He was lucky. Kinda hard to fight with your jersey over your head. He did stand up for his boy, good for him. Elbow looked up to me but the video is fuzzy on my laptop. 31-9
So, here's some footage of Bochenski bantering with Bruins teammate Bobby Allen (BC) at the Beanpot. Allen takes a dig at the academic standards of UND, but there's some pretty good stuff in there like Bo's comment that if the Sioux were in the tourney they would have won 54 straight. mikeypat15
Congrats to Drew and his great game. Never would have thought it would be him doing sticking up for a teammate like that, but I figure that is one of many things that UND teaches its hockey players. Go Drew and Go Sioux!!! redwing77
man what a wild game! Wild and stupid at the same time. Emery and Biron.... Emery and PEters? Please. Out of control. The only thing that would have been better would have been if the coaches threw down.

The only thing that would have been better would have been if the coaches threw down. Ill have to disagree. This isn't the only time other players from a team retaliated against a so called 'cheap shot'. Though it wasn't a cheap shot but most of these players didn't have the benefit of a replay. They just saw blood and an injured teamate and went out to protect their teammate. Its part of the sport and I love it! Now after seeing the replay they probably think/know that their retaliating acts were a bit harsh, but still, at the time it happened something needed to done. UNDintheNHL
Yes, Neil definitely intentionally hit Drury with his shoulder in the head. Staffy did the right thing, although not expected of him. in other news, 15:00 left in 3rd per, Bochenski has 1 goal and 2 assists in Bruins vs. TB game

redwing77
Yes. Sticking up for a teammate. Needed to be done. Thumbs up for Stafford. Know how my post looked and that's not what I was condoning. I think it was good that Stafford stuck up for his teammate (in an instance where fighting was warranted and it happened to be done but it was done by a guy who, regardless of fighting skill, is worth more to the team than just fighting). Where I draw the line was that Biron and Emery shouldn't have fought. Emery wanted to fight and Biron dumbly obliged. Biron got his butt handed to him and then Peters comes in to "stick up for his teammate?" Are you kidding me? STick up for what? Biron got owned. End of story. That fight shouldn't have happened (Peters vs Emery) and I don't think there was a solid reason for the goaltenders to fight at all.

Game two is tonight and basically it sounds as if Lindy sent his tough players out against the Sens skilled players and basically told them to kick some butt. Old Time hockey. Sweet. Siouxdonyms
Zach Parise just sniped in his 26th goal of the year in today's Devils/Capitals game. Zajac gets the primary assist, and David Hale set up the beginning of the goal.
