AZSIOUX Posted March 16, 2008 Author Posted March 16, 2008 the beavers had their chances for sure. sucks they lost the game. congrats to the purple eagles! Quote
gopherz Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 or how to play every game scoring 1 or 2 goals and try to win every night with a pathetic offense brought to you by the lucia pet, fug the gophers tonight and go sioux!! Ah chill out AZ I can think of plenty for us too... How to lead the 3rd most minutes in the NCAA and still barely be .500 How to suck on the power play, giving up shorthanded goals How to leave your goalie out to dry How to miss the net on every one-timer Haha Quote

gopherz Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 im chill 24/7 go sioux I'll be watching both games, don't even worry about it. Got to love the 60" TV for split screen If you do somehow lose, just remember I'll be in AZ tomorrow and I better see you wearing your jersey, lord knows I'll bring mine. Quote
RedFrog Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Lot of people should be watching the Colgate/Clarkson game, currently heading to OT. Clarkson get's beat, that means that there will probably be another team getting in that isn't in the top 16. Quote
RedFrog Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Air Force beats Mercyhurst 5-4 early in the 2nd OT. Northern Michigan beat Michigan State. Colgate/Clarkson still going. Quote
jojordan23 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 You guys gotta be happy with Shep now. Why's that Sagard? Quote
Goon Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Air Force beats Mercyhurst 5-4 early in the 2nd OT. Northern Michigan beat Michigan State. Colgate/Clarkson still going. Kind of makes you wonder if the WCHA teams are currently dying on the vine, there probably won't be 6 teams in this year. I think Wisconsin is going to be out too. Quote
Sioux_Yeah_Yeah Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 LET'S GO MAVS!!! This is making me nervous.... Let's hope Kangas lets one slip.... haha Quote
sagard Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Why's that Sagard? Kalinski ran Kangas. Only the deserved X-Check on Lucia was called. Probably not as bad as the too many men call the other night. Mankato has much better legs this OT. Of course one shot wins it. Quote
mikeypat15 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 How bad was the Pohl injury, saw the stretcher from my seat in the Ralph. Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 How bad was the Pohl injury, saw the stretcher from my seat in the Ralph. From what was said earlier, broken nose and concussion. Doesn't sound like they are talking about any kind of neck injury. Have not heard any updates lately. Quote
sagard Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 How bad was the Pohl injury, saw the stretcher from my seat in the Ralph. Helmet fell off. Reports are broken nose and concussion. Quote
Sioux_Yeah_Yeah Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 How bad was the Pohl injury, saw the stretcher from my seat in the Ralph. This is the text message I got from "gopherz" about Pohl: "Elbowed in back of head, helmet came off, head smashed the corner with no glass right on our bench, head snapped. That's the whole thing." But then I got: "Concussion and broken nose" So I have no idea. Sounds like it was pretty bad though!! Let's go Mavs!!! Quote
farce poobah Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Looks like its goodbye Badgers (for the NCAAs). Clarkson lost. http://www.collegehockeystats.net/0708/boxes/mclgclk1.m16 Edit: obviously that comment is way too early. Just wishful thinking on my part. Quote
Siouxfan_inDenver Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Dang, that was close as heck. Real fun OT to watch as a non partisian fan though. Quote
sagard Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 MSU second post of the OT. Gophers had two in the third. All out competition this weekend. Shep puts his lid back on. Quote

His head really snapped forward after his helmet came off. I know the kid that hit him (elbow to the head) got a 5, 10 and a game DQ. Quote

As far as I can tell Bucky passes the Gophers if the Gophers lose, but yeah we are down to 13. Quote
Sioux_Yeah_Yeah Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Oh man, close shots from both teams.... Zacharias and Kangas have both been playing well... Quote
