He served as a volunteer assistant coach at Maine for one season. I can't think of a single more qualified individual in this world to take over this program. You've completely nailed it.

You want to bring in a young coach who can recruit and connect to the players. The two individuals I pointed out have zero, ZERO, recruiting experience. Please enlighten me how in the !@#$ that's going to fix the program? Please explain to me how UND turned into the hockey program where guys get their first ever college coaching experience as our HC. Enlighten me.

So, your plan is then to hire a young coach with absolutely no experience when it comes to recruiting? Just admit you don't care about the program why don't you.

You guys are acting like this is an upstart program that needs to be built from the ground up. They're bringing in somebody who has collegiate coaching experience and knows how to win. Anybody bringing up St. Clair or Smaby as being the new head coach isn't serious about this program progressing.
