UND should just demolish the Ralph when it takes over and end the hockey program. Then it will be out of the way for the football program to take its rightful place at the top of the athletic department! Hell even build a new football stadium over the ruins! we all know there is not enough room in grand forks for both programs! Just take a looks at NDSU, football at the top, all other programs very far behind dragging the whole department down like a gimp leg.

All you have been blabbing about are things you are just speculating on. You keep complaining on this board about things that should be done but have very little first hand knowledge of what you are talking about. You keep talking about what UND needs to do to get better but ZERO things about what YOU are actually going to do except for B@;&($; anonymously on a public forum

The arena didn’t need to be 100 million to sell it out at 11k tickets. Ralph chose for it to be the nicest arena in the country. it takes more than money to make a program successful. UND football has slowly turned into a winning program and the new facilities will only help. Honestly the salaries are the only thing left to bring us to the top level. It takes time and can’t happen overnight unless we can find the next Football Ralph. you are doing no one a favor by tearing down a UND athletic program, actually embarrassing for many of us to read this on a public forum.

It’s not your money they are spending. Donors have specified what they want their money to fund and most of that money is going to hockey. UND is not going to divert the money to some other program. To say they are not soliciting money to fund the football program is an easy thing to criticize from the outside. If you were a big enough donor they would listen to you but you need to bring $$$$ and solutions to the table. like many people said before no one likes a complainer, and you don’t get a say unless you have some $$$$$ brought to the table

No it says UND football fan need to donate some of his time if he wants UND to be successful. Quit complaining and do something productive out of it. We need to catch up to teammakers. Put Up $$$$ or Shut Up!

Got to beat them. Simple as that. We need a connection to get the top talent over a Ag U offer.

Exactly why give up a coveted NCHC spot for nothing. We need the leverage to fill the summit. Mankato can have a spot too if they go D1 in all sports.

Only if they start sponsoring summit football. We need another men’s sport. Don’t give them a NCHC invite for nothing!

Exactly who cares about ASU right now. The UND administration needs to be focused on who fills the Summit holes. If that means bringing in two schools to the NCHC and one with a matching Summit invite (MN Mankato) then I’m in bring ASU into the conversation

Any offers go out after the MN camp? Saw one guy get an offer followed by an Iowa State offer.

NDSU and SDSU could jump to the MWC and leave UND and USD to beg the Big Sky to let them back in…

I mean Mayor Pete doesn’t show up for the important things so I guess this really is a big accomplishment!

They are a better academic institution than Boise St. They are one of the few schools that the Big 12 or PAC-12 would pick up if desperate.

So you are going to have 5 schools drop their men’s soccer teams? They could find another conference at a minimum.

Why would one of the top conferences add Rutgers then? What were they good at athletically?

Wyoming wouldn’t play the Montana and dakotas in the same conference unless they were desperate
