Well he knows getting drafted in the first round is just as easy playing for the bison as for any other P5 team so I don’t see why he would want to transfer. It could become a bigger possibility if he could Grad transfer. No way he would transfer if he has to sit another season.

That sounds like a tempered goal to be a backup for a decade. Didn’t know Bison fans knew how to be humble. If you don’t think Stick has the smarts and attitude to be a STARTER one day there is a good chance he won’t be in the league for a decade let alone a few years.

Once you get to the NFL there is no more FCS or FBS. You can’t compare Stick to Jones success years ago at Ohio State. Stick could be just as irrelevant in 4 years as Jones if he is even still on a team. Remember Stick could have beat Alabama too.

We are not better than in 2016 or 2017 or heck even in 2018. The team this year doesn’t have elite FCS talent at very many positions like we had in the past and Danny at the helm of the offense just makes this team look better than we have for talent. I do think we tackled better in the first half and most of the initial contacts took them down. Second half must have worn us down because we couldn’t stop a fly. I do wonder how the game would have went if Trey was not as crazy mobile as he is. I agree Bubba might not be the best long term but I don’t think we can afford to lose Schmidt or Danny otherwise we will be building from the ground up once again.

Jones outplayed Stick in the preseason in my opinion, but you think beating out Jones is a huge accomplishment? Why would the Chargers cut one of their draft picks without giving him some time to develop. I can tell you one thing Stick won’t be in the NFL very long. Too much talent coming in every year. NDSU’s QBs have been good but can we really place Stick in the same category as Wentz? IMHO Trey Lance looks way better than Stick and could be a high draft pick by the end of his career at NDSU. Disclaimer: as long as he stays healthy, running QBs scare me

Today sucked but my hope isn’t over until the next few weeks take place. If we pull off some wins I think we can forget this game. If we spiral down hill it will be a killer for this program. We will see what this team is made of and I reserve long term judgment until then. how do we get elite athletes like NDSU has it will take more than just a new coach. It will take success on the field. This season is far from over.

Went back to his hudl tape and man he has what it takes. Great release and throwing the ball in tIght coverage and is able to scramble finding an open man or just running it. He would have made a great scout team Trey Lance this week with similar skills he has shown. I think we have a sleeper at QB and I don’t care if any other team believes us or not.

UND 27 NDSU 24 UND finds a way to stop the run but fails to contain Trey on some QB scrambles due to tight secondary coverage, in the end UND come out on top!

Nah uh, NDSU is a FBS coach factory and a NFL QB training ground. Any P5 league would be lucky to have them.... according to McFeely and bandwagon Co.

Wyoming wouldn’t waste their time playing a second tier team in a destination game. Sorry but even Wyoming is too good to bother accommodating NDSU. Even though NDSU has beat more P5 teams in the last 15 years than WY If NDSU want to build on the Target Field game they will need to schedule a popular FCS team. No FBS team would bother to stoop to that level.

If the NCAA thinks they can make WY change the Cowboy logo they are in for a wake up call. People in WY are crazy. Would the NCAA even go that far down the PC road?

So what’s your understanding of why the ticket prices are going for so much? 1. Is it because it’s a big game against a big time (ranked) opponent? 2. Is it because it’s a rivalry game and both fan bases are driving a higher demand 3. Or is it because of high demand for tickets from just the opponents fans? Would you be saying our fans care more about our game with NDSU than the other teams you play that are considered your rival? It has to be because of one of the three reasons, but I guess you can remain in denial.

Supply and demand bud. Less tickets on the market equal a higher price, likewise more tickets on the market and even higher demand could also drive high ticket prices. Like Kolpack said all it takes is one big moment to reignite the rivalry. The player may not feel it until we get to conference foes but regardless it will be coming soon.

I don’t agree with Kelly’s prediction about our O line struggling against the Bison front 4. Our line has shown they can perform against big time D lines as shown in our game last year against Washington. I think we can battle it out on both sides of the ball and make it a game. They also talked about how the Bison only ran for 100 some yards against our undersized freshman D line in 2015 and just relied on Wentz to pick apart our secondary. Could they have run it more, maybe, but our secondary is vastly improved so they will need to pound the ball to wear UND down and own the time of possession. I do agree in his game prediction that the Bison will not blow us out.

The NDSU/SDSU game in Brookings for comparison has the cheapest tickets at $62 for this week 9 game. Must be the NDSU fans driving up the price?

According to ESPN the cheapest ticket for the UND/NDSU game is $87 which ranks it #4 of all college football games this weekend. It is also the costliest cheap ticket of all the games on the Bison schedule. But many bandwagon fans claim there is no longer a rivalry........

Hell will freeze over before Wyoming ever drops the Cowboy logo. The logo is the most common image in the state and people use it EVERYWHERE!
