I am a season ticket holder for FH FB and was in hockey as well....but Hak cured me of that....may come back as Berry seems to be an OK guy.....At least he could close the deal!!!!!! I do not like Bizzonville...their FB fans are as annoying and arrogant as UND 'ockey fans!!!!!!

MLB and NHL drafts so un newsworthy as players drafted are years away from playing at the top levels. Both these sports allow for players to be re drafted after a passage of time. NFL and NBA drafts more meaningful and followed nationally because players enter directly to the 'big time'. Hockey is such a niche sport followed only in places where water freezes and baseball falling as 'national pastime' .. Both of these drafts not worth blog coverage to the effort some puck heads expend....

This board is correct.....NDSU football fans are arogant. But UND hockey fans are also....Both schools are fine institutions....and most sports coaches and fans are too....but these two examples....are over the top with 'fullness of self"......Be humble...act with true sportsmanship......

If you can look objectively at this championship. What was different. The coach. Was it the system, or the ability to motivate? I'm not sure, but in the latter years of Coach Hakstol, it seemed to be more about him.....than the team. Berry seems to deflect attention and credit to players. For you SIOUX FOREVER fans. I remember sweatshirts and yard signs stating REDSKINS. FOREVER when GF Central changed names. Talked to a '30 something ' college grad who did not even know Central was the Redskins....in a few years Sioux will be remembered in UND history, just like Flickertails....time and society moves on!!!!!! Mark it down.

Lets hope Barry can accomplish in year 1 what Haks-tool couldn't in 12. (Arrogance personified )

FYI...I am not a troll...but a UND football season ticket holder...and attend many BB games both M and W....and also get down to a couple Gopher FB games each year...Just like to 'jerk' the over the top homers....of any team from time to time.....UND 'ockey fans are especially fun to jab....OBW...Lucia has an NCAA 'ockey title more recent than UND....I do hope both the Fighting Hawk and Gopher FB teams do well this season...think they both will fini near the top of their confereces..schedules favorable for both.. Go Hawks...(and Gops)...You can root for both really you can!!!!

NDSU fans dillusional as per usual regarding the Johannson commitment to Minnesota. Forum believed the kid when he said it came down to NDSU or Gophers. He was making the Bison faithful feel good. It was really down to Nebraska or Minnesota. Quality of a degree from Minnesota or SU. FBS opponents each week or combo fcs/D II? Ya right. Just so UND fans don't get too smug. When's the last time Gophers lost a hockey recruit they really wanted to UND. In hockey Minnesota doesn't recruit they choose. Back to fargo.
