  1. Would have been different if the game had been won by outplaying a team. You know like a number 1 seeding over the number 14 team should have. Nope won by a lucky bounce after the 14th team controlled the 1 team. I love how Gopher fans would enjoy this more than winning the championship instead. What a way to justify the egg that they laid.
  2. It is under the caption: Excuses for Minnesota having lost again. Seriously though the real issue maybe that Gopher recruits think they are too good to spend a year or two in the USHL and wait until they are needed at the university. Look at how UND's recruits are structured by coming in over time instead of all at once.
  3. Probably why you and the rest of us are not D1 coaches. They see what we don't. LOL
  4. The administration was right to let him go at the time. For those of you that think that was over kill a question. If a teacher or principle of your child's school was charged with suspected child porn on their computer would you not want them fired? At the time it was the right thing to do.
  5. I didn't until they found all the illegally dumped waste.
  6. Just because you do not something does not mean someone else might.
  7. How do you know his dad is not part of the club?
  8. Maybe an outhouse name. Common things to find in farmville. Asking a Bison fan about hockey would be like asking Oliver Wendell Douglas what farming is like.
  9. And at one time or another ten of them played in the same conference
  10. You don't write ads do you? This was the best caption by far.
  11. "Denile" is a river in Africa. Even after having been dominated by the 14th seed who got in through the backdoor and your goalie kept you in the game.
  12. As if it is Unions fault that their players stayed around for all 4 years. One thing I have not seen mentioned anywhere is this analogy. Great hockey minds here tell me if I am off or not. The reason I can see Union having older players is that they somewhat got the leftovers. Guys that played an extra year of juniors because no one except the D3 schools were recruiting them. Union came along and asked them to come and play there. Maybe some of these guys weighed the fact that Union's tuition was not really anymore, maybe less, than the D3 schools were. All undrafted and overlooked players (think Ed Belfour). They ended up at Union, jelled into a stellar team and won the big one. It would be interesting to go through the rosters of the teams they had played for before Union and see where the draft picks and stars of those teams ended up. Even after all this the Gophers still whine because the unwanted kicked their butts. Has to sukk to get beat by the unwanted.
  13. That would be about where do leave it. You can make an argument for each team to be over another. In the end though all are such storied programs that none really are better than the other. It is an honor that UND can be in such great company. Especially when Moo U can not even come close to making any similar claim to fame.
  14. The Gophers whine about the age of Union players. The two oldest players are Union are Minnesota boys. I guess the only Minnesota boys that are suppose to be old can play for them.
  15. Should have clarified my question. They have him scoring while he was still at Tech. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/seasons/teams/0004971989.html Anyone?
  16. Hockeydb has Damian as having scored a goal. Did he?
  17. I do hope you include Michigan Tech in your list. A notable player from there that many will not think of is Damian Rhodes.
  18. Everyday I Need Attention. Or I went to STA, Breck, Blake,..
  19. That is the point. I agree that it was his own business but when there is a moral terpitude clause in your contract then it is your own fault when you violate it. I am not trashing him. He is what he is and I have no problem with it. When you are a public figure you have to take the good with the bad.
  20. Telling. Is insinuating that the cop should know already. Asking would be surprise that the cop does not know. I did debate which way to phrase it.
  21. I bet he was telling the cop, "Do you know who my dad is?".
  22. Then whose fault it? I like Cary and respect his coaching abilities. But it is his own fault he is gone (think Best Buy CEO). He did the same thing in college. His girlfriend at the time sorority sisters could never figure out why she put up with him. They were happy when she dumped him and these were her best friends. By the way he was still trying to pick up 24 year olds with nice racks in Sioux Falls. Cary has always been that way. It is who he is and has nothing to do with his coaching abilities that are top notch. An ex UND player who played under him told me the Sioux Falls story. One of his ex-girlfriend and sorority sister told me the rest. So if you want to call them liars go right ahead.
  23. Not a college team though. He did not leave by choice and it had nothing to do with a contract. If I am not mistaken they are on a year to year contract. Also as if he would have never left for the job in Sioux Falls. He would not have even applied for it. He is gone because of his own mistake and no one else is at fault.
  24. So it technically might be a violation. It would be very sad if the NCAA did anything about it. But there are rules that need to be followed. I hope they contacted the UM athletic department to make sure it would not be an issue.
  25. And this head coaching job thing has worked out how well so far?
