oh no, they touched it!!!!!!
Not touching it hasn't helped the last 15 years, might as well try something new.

Thatta boy Drake!!!!!!

Why the hell can they not finish a game with a minute left?

Time for a shorty.

at least it was a good song!
Hahaha. I said the same thing to my wife when the feed went out.

We've got one of those swim up pools right outside our room, ate at the El Med two nights ago it was delicious. The Asiana was great too. There are tons of Canadians down here, had some pretty good hockey talk.
Asiana's is my wife and I's favorite, followed by Maria Marie's.

I'm staying at the Royal, it's phenomenal. Drinking Dos Equis in the room. LaDue, goal!!!!!
I'm a huge fan of the quiet pool over by the Mediterranean restaurant. Maybe WMU should spend less time trying to play goons, and more playing hockey.

I'm in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico watching the game on NCHC.tv, that's the only reason I accept this feed.
God, I love Playa Del Carmen. Try and get to The Royal every other year.

I also am watching intently to see if anything tickles my pocketbook.

I don't question that, and I also don't pretend to know the rules very well. But just because Drake flipped and came down on his head doesn't automatically mean it's a game hit, does it? A good hip check will do that, and it wasn't a blind side hit or Drake would not have jumped to avoid the check. But like I say, I don't know the rules.
Important thing is that he's ok.
How about the fact that the puck was no where near Drake when the hit took place? Does that change the game misconduct side of it? If Drake has the puck, and instead of hip checking him off the puck, the defense goes low and takes out his legs, yes, I could see the argument where that was a 5 and not a game misconduct. But, Drake didn't have the puck, was behind the play, and Moore still went low on possibly the smallest guy on the ice. Dirty, dirty hit that needed a game misconduct, and supplemental discipline. Moore shouldn't be playing in DU's next series.

My opinion, 1,2, and 4 are the worst. I can handle #3. Moore should have never been in that game. When it happened I told my wife there is no way he should be allowed to stay, and then he was. Parks getting ripped down, how is that even remotely a penalty on him? I realize you don't want the game to get out of control, but that's why you start making the correct call. Finally, the goal, or no goal. There's really no comment I can really make on that, I will never understand that one.
-
that is by far the most asinine way to determine a "winner". how pathetic will it be if und misses out on winning the penrose because it can't win a frickin or for that matter even score a goal in a shootout? maybe und can petition to get out of a league that has these stupid shootouts.
The shootouts don't bother me as much as the reffing did this weekend. At least you have some control with a shootout.

Who was the officiating crew this week? Noticed it was not in the NCHC box score.
3 of them were Larry, Moe, and Curly.

Well they did call a no goal WITH a puck in the back of the net so...
True statement. Who knows what goes through their pebble sized minds.
-
How could they even consider it a goal? the back line referee was calling a goal, and there was no puck in the net, but 30 feet above his head
My wife and I were just talking about this. Don't understand how you can possibly call a goal with no puck in the net.
-
well...yeah....but they have the power, the assholes
They've done everything they could this weekend to keep UND from winning.
-
These refs....geezuz...can't even tell when a puck goes over the goal and not in? wtf?
The struggle is real with these bafoons.
-
They'll count this one.
-
I don't see them as having played as terrible as some of you make it out to be. I've seen some !@#!$ calls by the referees that have really allowed Denver to get back in the game, and a couple soft goals by Zane.
-
2nd goal for the guy that shouldn't be in the game.
-
Well, second good goal they took away this weekend.
-
Little late to the thread, but I don't know if I've ever seen a play more deserving of a walk down the tunnel than that cheapshot on Jewels. I wish they'd have a mic on Pattyn. I'd have loved to hear that conversation.

It's still Minnesota, they have a way of breaking our hearts. I'm sure beating us in the tournament would be the equivalent of them winning a championship this year, for them anyway.
