Facepalm. Of course that's Tripp. I know the third isn't Gleason. Dell?

It's good to see some UND hockey alumni in attendance at the pre-game party in Boston
I'm feeling like a terrible fan, Kristo is the only one I recognize.
-
Now who will start the sat. GDT ?
I think if we win that gfhockey will be starting it. I think the Friars pull a somewhat upset.
-
Since I took a cheap shot at him earlier this week, I say Murphy gets on the sheet with a goal. Murphy, Cags, General. 3-2 Sioux.
-
Was at practice at TD Garden today. Mac was on the ice shooting.........in shoes.
Am I the only one that wouldn't want to see him play even if he was cleared today? I think you have to have fully healthy bodies on the ice. No weak spots. Plus, I wouldn't want to test his rust in a one and done format.
-
Nice cheap shot. It would be good weekend for a number of guys who haven't scored much lately, to put the puck in the net.
Didn't mean it as a cheap shot, was basing my comment off the article that was posted. Noone has been cheering for Murphy to break through more than me, and have even commented before about how hard he worked when he got back into the lineup, including that he was the best player on the ice Frozen Faceoff weekend.
-
Wouldn't it be awesome if Murphy scored the GWG to give UND an NCAA title.
This would be a good weekend for Murphy to show the world his practice skills on the real ice.
-
That sucks big time. Couldn't afford to go to Boston, being an adult and all having to fix my roof, but I could afford to make a drive to Grand Forks.
-
Yes thank you. I made the mistake of reading a few pages of that thread earlier.
Here's a relevant question: What do the good guys do to slow down the Eichel line?
Let Poolman lean on him for sixty minutes.

Zane Fatheads making the trip. My daughter gave Zane's mom hers after the regional to travel to Boston since we cant go and in return for the gesture had another one made and she got it to Zane. We got it this weekend with a nice little note and autograph by Zane to my daughter. One of the coolest gestures I've seen. My daughter was a big Frattin fan...then Rocco....but I don't think she'll ever not be a huge Zane fan!
That's awesome.

My wife read me something that said they weren't on Thursday, but it didn't specifically say anything about if they make it to Saturday. I'm hoping so. I would love to watch Saturday, if they make it, with a few thousand other Sioux fans.

doubt my linking abilities will work, but watch for the crowd shot.
Nice. Some Sioux love in the crowd.

Toews with two goals with less than two minutes to go in the game to get the tie, and the win. Not bad.
-
agreed. Stetcher i don't think would go. He could get the same deal next year or better. why rush it if i'm him.
I'm 50-50 on Zane. UND holds such a special place to him because of his grandmother, and that guy goes by the beat of his own drum. I would not be the least bit surprised to see him back in net next fall.

So since it's the off week, If anyone wants a good laugh, head over to USCHO and read a UNO fan whine/rant for 7 paragraphs about various topics:
http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?110749-UNO-14-15-season-thread-Will-the-sleeper-awaken/page13
Count me as one of the ruffled feathers. They essentially beat us twice? We're still in this position even without Zane? Haha, that one is ludicrous. This team doesn't go .500 without Zane. I hope we do meet them, and then drop eight on Massa.
-
Why cause I back things up with facts that other people ignore?
I actually laughed out loud at that one.
-
So you guys are pissed off cuZ I won't start a GDT va blaiser? Jeesh
We have to beat bu first and blaiser has to beat PC too
Maybe I'll start a GDT thread on mavpuck too to make it equal?
Fantastic idea. You could start one for BU also, you know, to make it fair.

who is expected in next year. I assume Jordan will leave and maybe zane. but I can't see another flight risk. With that said which players do we see wearing green next year
I agree. I think Jordan is gone, although I think it would be a mistake. I don't see him playing big league for a while yet. My heart says Zane stays.
If Jordan is all we lose for early next season, this team will again be solid. If Zane comes back, I see him with a Hobey.

My opinion on hak. I think hes great. He just needs to get over the hump and win the big one. TO me its like the old saying win one and he will get a bunch. Look at what he has done with some of his teams. We are always in the hunt for a title. never missed the tourney. I know a lot of people are always saying fire hak but I always remind them of 2012. I didn't think that team would make the dance and they went in as a number one seed. I am not worried about him being fired but a few more years with this success I start to worry about losing him to the pros. #inhakwetrust
I honestly don't see this, losing him to the pros that is. That man bleeds green and white.
-
The most important thing is that we have last line change because of our seed.
This.
-
Well, I'm driving up to Grand Forks to watch the games, if that counts for anything
If they make the final on Saturday, the wife and I will be going to Grand Forks to watch it at the Ralph if they have a viewing party.
-
Wade Murphy's effort was noticeable all weekend I thought. All over the puck.
I thought this also. He didn't take any second of any shift off and seemed to be an absolute pest while on the forecheck.
Someone else who has been ragged on countlessly all season, who I believed was a key factor in getting out of the region was Luke Johnson. The kid played phenomenal this weekend. No bonehead penalties and seemed to absolutely thrive off the crowd.
-
Take note Sioux players, no big hits in two weeks.

Watching on TV last night was crazy with the shot blocking. It was all the announcers were talking about, how St. Cloud couldn't get anything through to Zane after the first goal.

Agreed. The big hit by Providence the announcers were talking about should have been interference. Guy didn't have the puck.
