All we had to do was play smart football the rest of the way, roughing punter and bone head coverage on 3rd and 1 just put them right back into the game. Unbelievable....thought we prided on being smart.

That roughing the punter may go down as an epic bone head play if we don't win. Just plain stupid!

Are you pretty confident it's on channel 789? I called a friend who has DirectTV and asked them to check since I can't get it and they said they looked and didn't think they could get it. Would the channel number in AZ but the same as up there? Maybe they are different.

If you have Roku, do you still have to give your internet provider information? I have CenturyLink and they do not support ESPN3 in any fashion. I just bought Amazon Fire TV today so I'm going to hook that up, but still thinking since my Internet/TV provider is CenturyLink I won't be able to watch.

I have CenturyLink and I can't get ESPN3 even on my computer, thought I was doing something wrong but I called them last night and nope even when i sign in with my CenturyLink information I can't watch ESPN3....totally blows.

I stopped making score predictions after the first 2-3 weeks and we've been on a roll since then, so not going to change that strategy. Like many my keys are....OL getting a good push all day and Keaton is on for 4 quarters, if we do that I think we can pull out the W.

Great point, they could very easily be the 7th seed and us the 8th seed. Their new QB looks dangerous. We need to play 4 quarters well in order to win this one. We've really probably only played three good 4 quarter games this year, Poly, Sac St., and Southern Utah. And even the Poly game we turned the ball over inside the 10 yard line twice which helped keep it to be a close game. I just hope our OL is able to get some push.

Kind of think he is mocking us, describing how impossible it will be for them to beat us. Then if they lose, he'll be able to point out to all of the injuries they have. And if they win.....he can sarcastically say.......wow can't believe we actually beat the mighty UND team. The guys on their board feel they will beat us, however they should feel that way....it's going to be a close game and they should feel like they will win if they play well, just like we feel that way. However kind of thinking many of the guys on their board don't think a whole lot of UND football.

Anybody hear any more updated info on how Stockwell and Stanley are doing? Sure would be nice to have the OL at full strength.

Especially if their QB is truly sick. I'm expecting he'll be better and playing come tomorrow though.

I think most all of us on here respect Richmond and your program. I think it's a pretty evenly matched game and will be close, as I think many on our side do. In my opinion any time a game is evenly matched, the fan base on both sides think if they play well they will win......which should be there mentality...who the heck wants to go into a game thinking you are going to lose. In reading your board it seem many over there think you guys will win, which you should think that.......just like we think we'll win if we play well. We haven't played a game in 21 days so we are of course a little worried about being rusty, but with all the injuries it was welcomed. You guys obviously know all about injuries this year....even more than us. We are extremely excited about this game and looking forward to the opportunity to win this game and get a little respect, there are a lot of fan bases that don't respect us yet.....which I get because we haven't won a playoff game yet. We all expected to make the playoffs this year, but probably not get a seed....so getting a seed is probably a year ahead of schedule or what we would have thought. If we start out slow we may start to feel the pressure....hope not.

Wow iSpider....you really need to get your panties out of a bunch. I honestly couldn't read all that, just skimmed it but got the gist. For whatever reason the "Attendance" thread has taken over all of the talk/excitement. Well over 125 posts in the past day or so. Usually there is much more specific talk about the game, but for whatever reason everybody got so concerned about turnout that we have been talking about that WAY more than normal. It's not that we think this game is a cake walk and it's a given we are going to win, it's going to be a tough game. People on our board have been calling in and buying tickets to give away to students so we can get more at the game. I know one of your posters was wondering if our arena would get as loud as a pig squealing.......you know making fun. It's our first playoff game and we are very excited about it, but hey we are just dumb North Dakotan's we are not nearly as cool as you guys. I'm sure you guys can talk smart football so much better than we can. We bow down to you.

The map is looking pretty good, almost nothing left inside the 10 yard line on either side. I'm not sure if there are some other seats reserved for Richmond fans that still might be released yet or something, if not it's look pretty good considering there seem to be quite a few people who are wanting to walk up and buy due to TicketMaster fees.

I think you may be right and I am hoping this is what's happening. This may have gotten more students talking about the game and making it more the 'place to be' come Saturday. If we have a rocking crowd with a lot of students and win the game, they may see how fun it can be and really help next year in the student numbers. Or better yet, the following Saturday should it work out we got to host a second game if we win!

Does anybody know if there are any watch parties anywhere? I'm particulalry interested in if anybody in the Gilber/Mesa area is getting together or going somewhere for the game. Hockey championship had a nice watch party at RT O'Sullivans. However i believe that is where the Ag schoold holds their playoff football watch parties as well, and their game on Saturday may not be done by the time ours starts.

Only took JohnBoy 14 minutes to defend NDSU.....glad he is monitoring our attendance thread so closely.

I agree the team deserves the support. However I bet Richmond's team felt like they deserved a lot more support than 3,281 that was reported for their game last week too. I would love a full house, but we are not there yet but we are making strong progress towards it. Let's wait and see the attendance numbers for this weekend from all the other FCS playoff games before we start the 'pathetic fan base' chant, that's all I would ask. We probably do have the longest thread on attendance of any other team I bet lol, but that is a good thing as it shows that it is important to all of us which leads me to believe we will get where we want to be.

Totally agree. If we would have had a first round game last weekend and attendance was 5,800....the board would have been lit up with 'Pathetic' chants even though it would have been the highest of every other game. There is nothing wrong with high expectations, but we can't just look at NDSU, Montana, and UND hockey numbers to base our fan base from. Comparable to other FCS schools we are pretty good. I believe somebody else posted that EWU had 6,200 in a 3rd round game not too long ago and they obviously have some strong football tradition the past several years. I have no doubt we can keep building ours and get to a rocking 10-11k plus crowd every game in the near future.
